Murder Mystery 2 Guide
Value List
“Which MM2 knives and guns are worth the most, and how do you trade without getting scammed?”
Last Updated: June 2026
Murder Mystery 2 is one of the biggest trading games on Roblox, where players collect knives and guns and swap them with each other. Some items are worth a tiny amount, and a few rare ones are worth a fortune.
There is no official price tag in the game. Instead, the trading community agrees on rough values, and those values go up and down every day based on how rare an item is and how many people want it.
The short answer: the rarest Ancients and Chroma godlys, like Corrupt, Nik’s Scythe, and Chroma Lightbringer, sit at the very top of the value list.
New to the game? Our Murder Mystery 2 wiki covers how to play, and the Murder Mystery 2 codes page has free knives and rewards.
Below is the value list in rough bands, the items everyone wants, how to get them, and how to trade safely so you do not get scammed.
The Quick Answer
The most valuable items in MM2 are the rarest Ancients and Chroma godlys. Corrupt and Nik’s Scythe are famous top-tier knives, and Chroma Lightbringer is a long-time showpiece trade. After those come the other chroma godlys, then in-demand godlys like Batwing and Elderwood Scythe, then the everyday godlys, with legendaries and below at the bottom. Remember that MM2 values are community estimates, not official prices, so they change daily. Treat any value list as a rough guide, not a rule.
How MM2 Values Work
MM2 has more than 970 weapons split across eight rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, Godly, Ancient, Vintage, and Unique. The higher and rarer an item is, the more it tends to be worth.
The game never tells you what an item is worth. Instead, traders compare items using a made-up unit called “value,” and the community slowly agrees on a number for each item. Those numbers shift as new items are added and old ones get rarer.
Two things drive value the most: how rare an item is and how badly people want it. A discontinued event knife that almost nobody has can be worth far more than a newer godly that anyone can unbox. That is why the chart below is built from rough bands, not exact prices.
MM2 Value List (June 2026)
Here is the value list grouped into rough bands, from the most valuable items down to the everyday ones. Within each band, exact values still move around, so use this to see which tier an item sits in.
Top Tier
Corrupt, Nik’s Scythe, Chroma Lightbringer, Chroma Darkbringer, Chroma Traveler’s Gun, Eternal
The rarest and most wanted items in the game. Most are Ancients or old limiteds that you can no longer get, so demand always beats supply and they sit at the very top of every value list.
Very High
Chroma Seer, Chroma Heat, Chroma Saw, Chroma Shark, Chroma Laser
Chroma godlys with the rainbow color-shift animation. They are the showpiece trades and stay near the top because the chroma effect is rare and very popular.
High
Batwing, Logchopper, Elderwood Scythe, Nightblade, Evergun
In-demand standard godlys. Seasonal items like Elderwood Scythe spike in value every spooky season, so they move up and down through the year.
Mid
Seer, Heat, Ginger, Ghost, Shark, Tablesaw
Common godlys you can unbox or trade for fairly easily. This is the everyday godly tier and a great place to start building a collection.
Low
Most Legendaries, Rares, Uncommons, and Commons
Low trade value. These are mostly starter items you unbox a lot of. They are fine for new traders, but you trade many of them up for a single godly.
MM2 values are set by the trading community and change every day as items are added, retired, or go in and out of season. This chart shows rough bands for June 2026, not fixed prices, so always double-check current demand before a big trade. Never feel rushed into a deal just because a value list says one side is “worth more.”
A quick cheat sheet: most of an item’s value comes from its rarity. Godlys and above are where serious trading happens.
Most Wanted Items Right Now
These are some of the items traders chase the hardest. Demand can change, but each of these has stayed near the top for a long time.
| Item |
Rarity |
Why it holds value |
| Corrupt |
Ancient |
One of the rarest knives in the whole game. So few exist that traders often offer several top items for a single one. |
| Nik’s Scythe |
Godly (limited) |
A famous limited knife that is no longer obtainable, so it only gets rarer and stays near the top. |
| Chroma Lightbringer |
Chroma Godly |
A bright, color-shifting godly that has been a long-time showpiece trade for collectors. |
| Chroma Traveler’s Gun |
Chroma Godly |
A rare chroma gun that many collectors chase, which keeps its demand very high. |
| Elderwood Scythe |
Godly |
A Halloween item that spikes in demand every spooky season, then settles down again. |
| Batwing |
Godly |
A popular bat-themed godly with steady high demand all year round. |
How to Get Valuable Items
You build up a collection a few different ways. Here is how it works.
1
Earn coins by playing rounds
Finish rounds as the Innocent, Sheriff, or Murderer to earn coins. The more you play, the more coins you have to spend, so just playing the game is the first step.
2
Unbox knives and guns from crates
Spend your coins on knife and gun boxes. Most pulls are common, but boxes are the main way to unbox a godly, so keep opening them as your coins add up.
3
Trade up from what you have
Start with the commons you already own and trade them for slightly better items. Repeat that over and over and you slowly climb toward godlys without spending real money.
4
Collect seasonal and event items
Limited event knives, like Halloween or Christmas drops, often become more valuable later once they are gone. Grab them while the event is live so you have them to trade down the line.
5
Grab codes for free items
Active codes sometimes give free knives, pets, or coins. See our Murder Mystery 2 codes page for what is working right now.
How to Trade Safely (Avoid Scams)
The most important part of trading: the value list is only useful if you do not get scammed. Scammers in trading games try to rush you, swap items at the last second, or trick you into handing things over for free. The tips below keep your items safe.
1
Values are estimates, not rules
A value list is a rough guide that changes daily, not an official price. Do not let anyone tell you a trade is fair or unfair just because of one chart. Check current demand and decide for yourself.
2
Only use the in-game trade window
Real trades happen in the trade window where both players see every item and have to accept. Never agree to a deal where you drop an item on the floor first, and never trade through a stranger acting as a go-between.
3
Slow down and recount
Scammers rush you and swap a valuable item for a cheap one right before you accept, or pad a trade with junk to make it look even. Take your time, read both sides, and recount every item before you hit accept.
4
Never share your account or password
No knife is worth your account. Roblox staff and honest traders will never ask for your password or login. If anyone asks, it is a scam, so close the chat. Learn more in our is Roblox safe for kids guide and our how to trade in Roblox guide.
Value List Tips
- Use the value list to learn which band an item sits in, then trade based on what people actually want that day.
- Seasonal items like Elderwood Scythe are worth the most around their event, so buy off-season and trade in-season.
- Chroma godlys and Ancients hold value best over time because they are the rarest and most wanted.
- Start small. Trading up from commons to a godly is slow but safe, and it costs no real money.
- If a deal feels too good to be true, it usually is. Walk away from any trade that feels rushed.
MM2 Value List FAQ
What is the most valuable item in MM2?
The rarest Ancients and Chroma godlys sit at the top, including Corrupt, Nik’s Scythe, and Chroma Lightbringer. So few of them exist that traders offer huge amounts for a single one.
Are MM2 values official?
No. There is no in-game price tag. Values are set by the trading community and change every day, so any value list is a rough guide, not an exact price.
How do I know if a trade is fair?
Compare both sides against the same value band, take your time, and never let anyone rush you. If one side is in a much higher band than the other, the trade is uneven.
How do I get godly knives?
You unbox them from knife and gun boxes using coins you earn by playing rounds, or you trade up from items you already own. Both take time but cost no real money.
How do I avoid getting scammed?
Only trade in the in-game trade window, never drop items on the floor to “trade,” double-check both sides before you accept, and never share your account. Our how to trade in Roblox guide has more safe-trading tips.
Does MM2 have codes for free items?
Yes, sometimes. Codes can give free knives, pets, or coins. Check our Murder Mystery 2 codes page for what is active now.
