Murder Mystery 2 has no working codes right now. Every code Nikilis has ever put out is retired, and the newest one is years old at this point. The code box is still in your inventory, so the game can bring codes back at any time. Nothing you type into it today will give you a knife.

A few are worth knowing if you trade. Gifted is the only code item that was ever better than Common. The 2017 Pumpkin is the only pet a code ever gave out. Alex, Corl, Denis, Sketchy and Sub are named after members of The Pals, a Roblox YouTube group. TNL comes from a Twitch show Roblox staff ran from 2014 to 2016. Combat II is the odd one out, added after players kept asking Nikilis for a fresh code knife.
How To Redeem Codes in Murder Mystery 2
There is nothing to redeem today, but the box is still there and works the same way it always has. Here is what to do when a new code turns up.
- Open Murder Mystery 2 on Roblox and wait in the lobby.
- Click the Inventory button to open your inventory.
- Find the code box inside that window and type the code in.
- Press redeem. The knife goes straight into your inventory.
Each code only works once per account, and the knife you get is yours for good. MM2 codes have always been permanent skins rather than boosts that run out.
When Do New Murder Mystery 2 Codes Drop?
MM2 codes are rare even by Roblox standards, at 17 in over ten years. The ones that did land came with creator team ups, a back to school event and a Halloween event. About Murder Mystery 2
Murder Mystery 2 is a hide and seek game. Nikilis put it on Roblox in January 2014, which makes it one of the oldest games still busy on the platform. Every round hands you one of three roles. The Murderer has a knife and wants everyone gone. The Sheriff has a gun and has to work out who that is. Everyone else runs and hides.
The real pull for a lot of players is the knives. There are hundreds, split into Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary and Godly. You pull them out of crates or trade for them. A whole trading scene has grown up around which knives people want, and prices move the way they would at any swap meet.
The game has over 30 billion visits and 24 million favorites. A few hundred thousand people are usually in a round at any moment. Code knives sit in an odd spot in all of that. You cannot unbox them or buy them from a crate. The only ones in the game are on accounts that typed the code in while it still worked.
