Steal An Egg All Eggs: All 110 and the 123 Pets They Hatch

Steal An Egg All Eggs: All 110 and the 123 Pets They Hatch

You are after the full egg list, so here it is. Steal An Egg has 110 eggs right now, and they hatch 123 different pets. This page has every one of them, sorted by the zone you find it in.

Those two numbers are not the same, and that catches people out. Almost every egg gives you one set pet. Three of them do not. Those are lucky dips, and we cover them further down.

Each egg is listed four ways. You get its rarity, what the pet inside pays each second, how long it takes to hatch, and the Speed you earn for carrying it home. Most egg lists stop at the first two.

Two things in here surprised us. Only one zone in the whole game is worth the Speed it costs you. And the rarity word on an egg does not really tell you what it pays.

The short version

  • There are 110 eggs and 123 pets. 87 eggs sit in nests across the 11 zones.
  • The other 23 come from the Rift or from events. You will never find those in a nest.
  • Eggs come back every 5 minutes in every zone.
  • Best paying egg: Mecha Dreadscale Egg at $4B/s. Best one you can steal from a nest: Nightflame Egg at $3B/s.
  • Hatching runs from 10 sec up to 16 hours.

How Eggs Work

Every zone has nests with eggs in them. A guardian sleeps next to each nest. You grab the egg, run home, and drop it in your pen to hatch.

Bigger eggs pay more but weigh more, so you run slower carrying one. That is the whole trade. Egg colour changes how it looks, not what it pays.

The money numbers below are base pay. When a pet hatches it can roll a size and a colour, and those multiply the base. So every number here is the lowest that pet can pay. A good roll pays more.

Eggs come back every 5 minutes. If a nest you want is empty, you do not need to hop servers. Go run the treadmill and come back.

All 87 Nest Eggs, Zone by Zone

These are the eggs you can walk up to and steal. Zones are in the order you unlock them. The Speed number is what you need to get in.

The 4 Rift Eggs Are Lucky Dips

Rift eggs do not spawn in nests. A Rift opens somewhere on the map every 30 minutes. A second one sits in the lobby all the time. That one asks for three of your pets and hands you one Rift egg back.

This is the part most egg lists get wrong. There are only 4 Rift eggs, but they hatch 17 pets. Three of those eggs are shared pools. You do not know which pet you are getting until it opens.

The gap inside one egg is bigger than the gap between zones. A Riftborn Egg can hand you an $11K a second pet or a $500M a second pet. Same egg, same 30 minute wait.

Riftborn Egg (6 pets)

Worst roll Rift Eye at $11K/s. Best roll World Eater at $500M/s. That is 45,455 times the pay for the same egg.

Pet Rarity Money each second
Rift Eye Legendary $11K/s
Voidmaw Mythic $50K/s
Ventinal Cosmic $585K/s
Abyss Overlord Secret $1.25M/s
Wendigo Secret $15M/s
World Eater Eternal $500M/s

Riftbeasts Egg (5 pets)

Worst roll Void Angler at $30K/s. Best roll Void Serpent at $900M/s. That is 30,000 times the pay for the same egg.

Pet Rarity Money each second
Void Angler Legendary $30K/s
Riftwing Mythic $220K/s
Dreadclaw Cosmic $2.2M/s
Mawbreaker Secret $60M/s
Void Serpent Eternal $900M/s

Shattered Rift Egg (5 pets)

Worst roll Shardling at $450K/s. Best roll Shattered Colossus at $3.5B/s. That is 7,778 times the pay for the same egg.

Pet Rarity Money each second
Shardling Mythic $450K/s
Shattered Ram Cosmic $8M/s
Shardwing Secret $145M/s
Shattered Drake Eternal $800M/s
Shattered Colossus Divine $3.5B/s

Void Dragon Egg (1 pet)

The one Rift egg that is not a gamble. You know what you are getting.

Pet Rarity Money each second
Void Dragon Eternal $120M/s

The pools swap over roughly every three hours, so what you can get depends on when you play. None of the Rift eggs has a hatch time written down yet.

The 19 Event Eggs

These come from the shop or from events, never from a nest. Some are from events that have already finished, so you cannot get all of them today.

They are worth knowing about because one of them is the best paying egg in the game. The Mecha Dreadscale Egg pays $4B/s, which beats the best nest egg you can steal.

Egg Rarity Money each second
Tung Tung Sahur Egg Rare $100/s
Bananita Dolphinita Egg Epic $400/s
Belula Beluga Egg Mythic $40K/s
Mangolini Parrochini Egg Cosmic $800K/s
Bomboclat Crocolat Egg Secret $20M/s
Strawberry Elephant Egg Eternal $110M/s
Scorpio Egg Event $10K/s
Froggo Egg Event $50K/s
Crawler Egg Event $1.5M/s
Crocodon Egg Event $30M/s
Mecha Scorpio Egg Event $45M/s
Drilla Egg Event $100M/s
Mecha Froggo Egg Event $155M/s
Mecha Crawler Egg Event $320M/s

Rarity Does Not Tell You What an Egg Pays

Steal An Egg rarity bands

The game has 10 rarity words: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Cosmic, Secret, Eternal, Divine. You would expect every Epic to beat every Rare. That is not how it works here.

We lined up the pay range of each rarity against the one below it. 6 of the 9 steps overlap. That means a lower rarity egg can pay more than a higher rarity one.

The clearest case is Rare and Epic. The best Rare pays $280/s. The weakest Epic pays $180/s. So a good Rare beats a bad Epic by a wide margin.

Only three steps have a clean gap with no overlap at all: Common to Uncommon, Uncommon to Rare, and Eternal to Divine. Everywhere else, check the number and ignore the word.

The Only Zone Move That Pays For Itself

Every zone past Forest has a Speed door. We compared how much more Speed each door asks for against how much more its eggs pay.

We measured the pay four ways: the best egg in the zone, the second best, the middle one, and all the eggs added up. A move only counts as a good one if all four agree.

Out of the ten moves, exactly one passes all four.

Jungle to Snow is the best move in the game. The Speed door goes up 4.2 times. The best egg goes up 19 times. Every way we counted it says the same thing.

Three moves fail all four tests. They cost more Speed than they pay back. Those are Abyss Ocean to Prehistoric, Prehistoric to Cosmic, Cosmic to Cherry Blossom.

The worst one is Prehistoric to Cosmic. The Speed door goes up 41 times over, and the best egg only goes up 5.6 times. That is the wall everybody gets stuck at.

Read this before you rush ahead. Getting into a zone is not the same as getting out of it with a big egg. A heavy egg slows you down, and the guardian does not.

Eggs Do Not Unlock Zones. Money Does.

Every egg you carry home gives you a one off pile of Speed. It is easy to think that is how you open the next zone. It is not.

The biggest Speed reward on any egg in the game is the Kitsune Egg, at +6,500,000 Speed. The last zone needs 7,000,000,000 Speed to walk into.

So you would need about 1,077 of the best egg in the game to open the last zone that way. Nobody is doing that.

Here is what actually moves you forward. Your pets make money. Money buys a better treadmill and a better trail. Those are what give you Speed, and the top treadmill gives 1,000 times what the free one gives per step.

So the answer to “how do I get more Speed” is get a better pet. Speed comes from gear, and gear is bought with the money your pets make while you are not even playing.

Where the Numbers Disagree

The game’s own data pages state some of these facts twice, and in a few places the two copies do not match. We checked all 123 pets both ways. Here is every place they disagree, so you know what is shaky.

  • T-Rex Egg. One copy says $25M/s, the other says $100M/s. We went with the lower one. It was updated a day later. It also keeps the T-Rex just under the Tralaledon, its neighbour at the same rarity.
  • Bladehide Egg. Its own page is half finished. It has no hatch time, no Speed reward, a broken pay value, and it lists a different rarity. We used the data page, which says Mythic and $750K/s.
  • Scorpio Egg. Listed as an event egg in one place and Legendary in the other. It is the only egg in the game that gives you zero Speed for bringing it home.

Two other counts are worth knowing. Cherry Blossom has seven eggs, not eight like every other zone, and we checked that twice. The Rift page says it added 18 pets while its own list shows 17.

Steal An Egg Egg FAQ

How many eggs are in Steal An Egg?

There are 110 eggs and they hatch 123 pets. 87 eggs sit in nests across the 11 zones, 4 come from the Rift, and 19 come from the shop or from events. The count of eggs is lower than the count of pets because three Rift eggs each hatch a pool of pets, not one set pet.

How long do eggs take to respawn?

Eggs come back every 5 minutes in every zone. You do not need to change servers.

What is the best egg in Steal An Egg?

The Mecha Dreadscale Egg pays the most at $4B/s, but it is an event egg. The best one you can steal from a nest is the Nightflame Egg at $3B/s, in Titan Temple.

What is the cheapest egg?

The Chicken Egg in Forest, at $1/s. It is also the first one most players ever grab.

Which egg hatches fastest?

The Chicken Egg at 10 sec. The longest wait is the Nightflame Egg at 16 hours.

Which zone should I go to next?

If you are in Jungle, go to Snow. It is the one move in the game where the pay goes up faster than the Speed door does, no matter how you measure it.

Are there codes for extra eggs?

The game has no code box at all yet. We keep a Steal An Egg codes page up to date for when that changes.

Do rarity names tell me what an egg pays?

Not reliably. 6 of the 9 rarity steps overlap, so a good Rare egg can out-earn a weak Epic one. Go by the money number.
