Anime Adventures Tier List
“The final meta, and an honest look at where this game stands.”
Last Updated: July 2026
Read this first: Anime Adventures is no longer updated
We checked directly with Roblox before writing this. Anime Adventures last received an update in September 2025, and it now has around 200 players online, down from a game that once pulled in billions of visits.
That means the meta below is frozen. No new units are coming, and nothing will be rebalanced. Plenty of other tier lists still present this game as if it is live. It is not, and you deserve to know that before you invest time in it.
That said, plenty of people still search for this tier list, and some players are still logging in. So here is the honest version: the meta exactly as it stood when the game stopped receiving updates.
If you still play Anime Adventures, this list is as accurate as it will ever get, because nothing is going to change it now.
Anime Adventures Final Tier List
The strongest units in the game, as of its last update. Remember that evolved forms are what matter, so always evolve before you judge a unit.
| Tier |
Units |
Why they rank here |
| S |
Golden Navy, Captain (God), Gravity Navy (Admiral) |
The strongest units the game ever had. Golden Navy is the lone Mythical, and it stayed at the top right to the end. |
| A |
Operator (ROOM), Captain (Timeskip), Jackal (Alpha) |
Elite evolved units. Any of these could carry endgame content when the game was still active. |
| B |
Joykid (Mode IV), Honey (Hive), Demihuman (Gamer) |
Strong, reliable picks. Good enough for almost everything short of the hardest content. |
| C |
Operator (Heart), Jackal, Honey, Joykid (Bounce) |
The base forms of the units above. Fine as stepping stones, but always evolve them. |
| D |
Bro, Rebel, Delinquent |
Early-game units. Useful when starting out, then quickly replaced. |
The genre did not die. It just moved.
What to Play Instead
If you liked Anime Adventures, the good news is that the exact same formula is alive and well elsewhere, and those games are still getting new units every few weeks.
| Game |
Players right now |
The situation |
| Anime Adventures (this game) |
~204 players |
Last updated September 2025. No new units, no balance patches. |
| Anime Vanguards |
~28,000 players |
The clear successor. Same tower-defence summoning formula, still updated constantly. |
| Anime Defenders |
Still updated |
Another live option in the same genre if you want something different. |
Our recommendation
Anime Vanguards is the natural next step. It is the same summon-and-defend loop, it has around 28,000 players online, and it is updated constantly. We have a full Anime Vanguards tier list with the current meta team, and an Anime Defenders tier list too if you want another option.
If You Are Still Playing
- Do not spend real money. The game is not being supported, so anything you buy has no future behind it.
- Evolve your units. Evolved forms are what the tier list above assumes, and that has not changed.
- Golden Navy is still the single best unit, and it always will be now.
- Old codes may still work. Check our Anime Adventures codes page, though do not expect new ones.

What is the best unit in Anime Adventures?
Golden Navy, the game’s only Mythical unit. Captain (God) and Gravity Navy (Admiral) round out the top tier.
Will Anime Adventures get updates again?
There has been no update since September 2025 and no sign of one coming. It is safest to treat the meta as final.
What should I play instead?
Anime Vanguards. It is the same tower-defence summoning formula, it has around 28,000 players online, and it gets new units regularly. See our Anime Vanguards tier list.
Do Anime Adventures codes still work?
