Gear in Anime Dice gives you more cash, luck, damage or gems. You get it from the Towers in the hub, and every piece is a rare drop from a set floor.
This page lists all 15 Tower gear pieces and what each one does. It also turns each drop chance into plain odds, so you know how long a piece takes. Then it shows which sets are worth chasing. Checked on October 21, 2026.
Quick answer. There are 15 Tower gear pieces, three in each of the five Towers. The easiest ones drop about 1 time in 200. The rarest drop about 1 time in 5,000. For cash, three easy pieces (Golden Hair, Obita’s War Fan and Tanjuro’s Katana) give you more than the five rare pieces most people chase.
How gear works
You wear gear in five slots: Head, Torso, Back, Waist and Upper. Each slot holds one piece, so you can wear five at once. All five boosts work at the same time.
Each Tower drops three pieces. The first one starts dropping around floor 20 or 25. The second starts around floor 50 or 60, and the best one waits until floor 90. The deeper you go, the rarer the drop.
Cash boosts multiply each other. A 2x piece and a 1.5x piece together give you 3x cash, not 3.5x. That is why some small boosts add up to more than you would think.

Golden Hair is the only piece that starts before floor 25. It drops from floor 20 in the Dragon Tower, so it is the first one most players get.
What the drop chances really mean
A tiny percent is hard to picture, so here it is as tries. These are averages. You could get lucky early, or it could take a lot longer.

The best gear for cash

Most gear lists tell you to wear Obita’s Mask, Angel’s Halo, Sakuna’s Sash, Mazun’s Coat and Enol’s Drums. That set is great for luck. For cash it gives 3x, and every piece in it is a 1 in 5,000 drop.
Now look at three easier pieces. Golden Hair gives 1.25x, Obita’s War Fan gives 1.5x and Tanjuro’s Katana gives 1.75x. Together that is about 3.3x cash. Each one is a 1 in 200 or 1 in 400 drop.
The best cash set of all adds Mazun’s Coat for 2x. Golden Hair, Mazun’s Coat, Obita’s War Fan and Tanjuro’s Katana come to about 6.6x cash. No Upper piece gives cash, so you can wear Angel’s Halo there for luck.
One more tip. Obita’s War Fan gives the same 1.5x cash as Enol’s Drums. The War Fan drops 12.5 times more often, so go for it first.
An easy luck set to start with
Luck helps you roll better units. The best luck pieces all drop at floor 90. While you work toward them, these three easier pieces fill your slots:
- Head: Usop’s Hat, +15% luck, from Pirate Tower floor 25.
- Torso: Todoh’s Vest, +12.5% luck, from Cursed Tower floor 25.
- Back: Obita’s War Fan, +25% luck and 1.5x cash, from Hidden Leaf Tower floor 60.
Shizui’s Tanto also gives +15% luck, but it is a Back piece. The War Fan beats it in that slot. No easy Waist or Upper piece gives luck, so those two wait for floor 90.
Which piece wins each slot
Some slots have lots of choices and one has only a single piece. Here is the winner for each slot, for cash and for luck:

Start in the Dragon Tower. It is the easiest, and Golden Hair drops there from floor 20. After that, aim for floor 60 in the Hidden Leaf Tower for the War Fan. Then go for floor 60 in the Slayer Tower for Tanjuro’s Katana.
Your team needs Damage and Health upgrades to climb. Those upgrades do nothing for your plot, so only buy them once you are ready to push a Tower.
Halloween gear
The Halloween update on October 18 added a spooky world you reach from a portal in the hub. Its Haunted House has five wings, and each wing drops its own gear piece. The five pieces are the Candy Bucket, Pumpkin Head, Ghost Wisps, Mummy Wraps and Vampire Cape.
Their boosts are not on this page yet. Look at the reward panel before you start a wing. After the fifth wing comes the Abyss, which keeps going with a boss every 25 floors.
A new Tower also came out with Update 7 on October 4. Its gear is not in the table above, so check its reward panel too.
Tips for farming gear
- Fill your plot first. Gear helps, but your units still make the money.
- Get Golden Hair early. It is the first piece you can reach.
- Chase the War Fan before Enol’s Drums. Same cash, far better odds.
- Do not judge a piece by how rare it is. Easy pieces can out-earn rare ones.
- Fill every slot. An empty slot gives you nothing.
