Eye Test

Last Updated: August 2026  |  Nearly 3 players in 10 never get past stage five. Here is the rest of the curve.

Eye Test is 115 stages of one simple question, asked in meaner and meaner ways. Can you see it. A word buried in stripes, a shape hidden in a circle of colored dots, one wrong letter in a wall of right ones, and a proper eye chart on the wall with a doctor pointing at it. Up to 20 people take each stage together.

The game gives out a badge every five stages, from five up to 115, and those 23 counters show exactly where people stop. This page has all of them, the drop that catches most players, the one thing the shop sells, and how this game compares with the studio’s other big one.

How to Play Eye Test

There is no timer and no score. You work through the stages in order, and the game remembers how far you got.

  1. Open the game and you land in a room with up to 19 other people. Everyone takes the same stage at the same time.
  2. Read what the stage puts in front of you. It might be a chart, a block of letters or a circle of colored dots.
  3. Give the answer the way the stage asks for it. Some want you to walk to a door, some want you to type.
  4. Slow down on the dot circles. The shape hidden in them is usually a number, and it shows up better if you stop staring straight at it.
  5. Join the group before you get far. Members get a free speed coil, which moves you between stages faster.
  6. Count in fives. A badge lands every five stages, so you always know how far along you are.

One stage late in the run wants a four digit number. The studio publishes that answer itself, and our codes page has it.

Eye Test Gameplay: How Far People Really Get

A badge lands every five stages, and each one keeps a count. Set them all out and you can see the whole run.

23,353,401 players hold the badge for opening the game, so that is the number every share below is measured against. It was made eleven days after the game opened, which makes it a tight count.

Stages cleared Players with the badge Share of everyone who started
5 stages 16,761,166 71.8 in every 100
10 stages 15,158,085 64.9 in every 100
15 stages 11,857,877 50.8 in every 100
20 stages 10,664,022 45.7 in every 100
25 stages 8,567,357 36.7 in every 100
30 stages 6,332,901 27.1 in every 100
35 stages 4,788,061 20.5 in every 100
40 stages 4,210,205 18.0 in every 100
45 stages 3,146,954 13.5 in every 100
50 stages 2,702,569 11.6 in every 100
55 stages 2,308,604 9.9 in every 100
60 stages 2,117,378 9.1 in every 100
65 stages 1,769,457 7.6 in every 100
70 stages 1,427,652 6.1 in every 100
75 stages 1,127,937 4.8 in every 100
80 stages 848,648 3.6 in every 100
85 stages 707,996 3.0 in every 100
90 stages 609,867 2.6 in every 100
95 stages 561,687 2.4 in every 100
100 stages 489,725 2.1 in every 100
105 stages 310,584 1.3 in every 100
110 stages 273,608 1.2 in every 100
115 stages 244,569 1.0 in every 100

72 in every 100 clear the first five stages. 46 clear twenty, 12 clear fifty, two clear a hundred, and one finishes.

One caution on the bottom rows. The badges for stages above 100 were made two weeks later than the one for stage 100, so a few early players got that far with nothing to pick up.

Eye Test

The Wall Is the First Five Stages

23,353,401 players opened this game. 16,761,166 have the badge for clearing five stages. That is 28 in every 100 gone before stage six.

No later step comes close. The next biggest single fall is about 26 in 100, and most rungs lose nearer 20.

That first number is the one to trust most, because the welcome badge and the stage five badge were made on the same day. Neither had a head start on the other.

It fits what the game is. There is no tutorial and no easy warm up. Stage one already asks you to read something you probably cannot read.

Harder Than the Studio’s Other Big Game, All the Way

The same studio makes Escape the Rooms, and it counts its rooms in exactly the same way, a badge every five. So the two can be lined up.

How far in Eye Test Escape the Rooms
5 stages or rooms 71.8 in every 100 84.1 in every 100
20 45.7 44.9
50 11.6 18.5
100 2.1 4.2
All the way 1.0 at stage 115 1.1 at room 135

This game is harder at every point. It loses nearly twice as many players in the first five, and from stage 25 onward it runs at about half the other game’s share.

The odd part is the last row. Both games end up with roughly one player in a hundred finishing, because Escape the Rooms is twenty rooms longer and gives up its lead along the way.

Same studio, same badge design, same finishing rate, and two completely different shapes in between.

The Shop Sells One Thing, and It Is a Zoom

There is exactly one thing to buy in this game. It is called Zoom In, it costs 129 Robux, and it has been on sale since four days after the game opened.

In an eyesight test, the only purchase is the ability to see better. That is worth knowing before you spend anything.

Nothing else is locked. All 115 stages are open from the first minute, and no badge needs it.

The free item is worth more of your attention. Group members get a speed coil for nothing, and the same studio charges 49 Robux for a speed coil in Escape the Rooms.

The Stage Count Stopped Growing in 2025

The badges carry the dates they were made, and they line up into a build order.

Stages 5 to 50 got their badges on 10 January 2025, stages 55 to 100 a week later, and stages 105 to 115 on 2 February. That is 115 stages in about five weeks.

Nothing has been added since. In late January 2025 the game page said new stages were being added often, and that line came off the page soon afterwards.

The game itself was updated on 1 May 2026, so somebody is still looking after it. If a badge above stage 115 turns up, the run has grown.

Tips for New Eye Test Players

  • Push through the first five stages. More players quit there than anywhere else in the game, and it gets no worse for a long while after.
  • Join the group before you start. The free speed coil costs nothing and the same item is a paid one in the studio’s other game.
  • Read letter walls line by line. Scanning row by row finds the odd character far faster than staring at the whole block.
  • Unfocus your eyes on the dot circles. The hidden number tends to appear when you stop looking straight at it.
  • Turn your screen brightness up. Several stages hide things in near matching shades, and a dim screen loses them completely.
  • Bring friends. Twenty people share a server, and arguing about what the answer says is most of the fun.

Eye Test FAQ

How many stages are there?

115. The last stage badge was made in February 2025 and none has been added since.

How many people finish it?

244,569 hold the badge for 115 stages, against 23,353,401 who hold the welcome badge. That is about 1 in 95.

Where do most players stop?

In the first five stages. 28 in every 100 who open the game never clear stage five, which is the biggest single fall in the run.

Is there a code?

No reward codes, but the studio publishes the answer to stage 104 on its own group page. Our Eye Test codes page has it and explains how we know it belongs to this game.

Are there working scripts?

No. One is listed and the file it reaches for was deleted. Our Eye Test script page follows the whole trail.

What can I buy?

One thing. A pass called Zoom In at 129 Robux. No stage is locked behind it.

How do I get the free speed coil?

Open the game page on Roblox, follow the link to the group, and press join. The coil is yours next time you enter.

Can I get a private server?

No. They are switched off, so every game is a public one with up to 20 players.

About Eye Test

Eye Test comes from PEAK Games, a verified group with close to 300,000 members and 14 games to its name. This is the biggest of them.

It opened on the last day of 2024 and has been visited more than 41 million times. The whole thing runs in one place, with no side maps or lobbies.

The game page credits its own inspiration by name, saying the idea came from a game called IQ Test. That is unusual and worth saying.

About 72 in every 100 votes are likes, across nearly 77,000 of them. That is a good deal lower than the studio’s escape game, which is what you might expect from something built to tell you that you got it wrong.
