Brace is a racing game where the players build the track. Everybody drops pieces onto the course, then you all race it, then everybody adds obstacles and you race the same course again. Twelve people share a server and it falls apart exactly the way it is meant to.
It opened in June 2024 and has been visited 31 million times, and its own page still warns that it is early and buggy. This page has the badges, which hide something odd, the two item shop, and the code ladder that charts the game growing.

How to Play Brace
The game page lists the controls itself, which is rarer than it should be. Here is the round in order.
- Redeem the codes first. They pay keys, money and gems, and keys are what open your crates.
- Build your bit of the track when the round starts. Everyone drops pieces onto the same course before anybody drives.
- Race it. Drive with WASD and hold shift for the handbrake, which is what gets you round a tight corner.
- Hit the checkpoints in order. The game counts them one by one, so cutting the course does not help you.
- Add obstacles when the round comes back around. Remember you have to drive past them as well.
- Save your powerup for a good moment. E fires it, and some of the rarest badges are for long shots.
There is a top speed of 200 studs a second. One of the badges is for reaching it, so no build will take you past that.
Brace Gameplay: Five Badges Nobody Has Ever Earned
There are twenty badges in this game and all twenty are switched on. Sort them by the date they were made and something falls out.

Every badge added during 2025 has been earned by somebody. Not one of the five added during 2026 ever has, and four of those five were made within two days of each other in March.
They are all still switched on rather than switched off, which normally means the thing they mark is live and simply never happens.
What they describe is real enough. A shortcut that skips three track pieces, an ability that locks onto another player, hitting somebody after you have been knocked out, scoring half again as much as you needed, and winning in sudden death. Whether they can be earned at all is anybody’s guess.

Only 32 players have managed three seconds of airtime and lived. That sounds achievable right up until you try it, because landing is the hard half.
And 126 people have played this game for more than a hundred hours. The badge for it is called Master of Procrastination, which is the studio being honest about what that means.
For scale, the arrival badge sits on 4,907,068. It was made in March 2025 though, nine months after the game opened, so it counts people who turned up after that rather than everybody ever.
One Badge Hands You a Vehicle
This one is worth knowing because badges usually just sit in a list.
There is a badge for flying 100 studs or more off a booster, and its own description says it unlocks a truck called the Trophy Truck.
So it is not a marker, it is a reward. 138,468 people have it, which makes it one of the easier ones on the list.
Everything else you drive comes out of crates you open with keys, and keys come from playing and from the codes.

For a game with 31 million trips through it, there is remarkably little on sale.

That is the whole shop. Two car packs at the cheapest price tier there is, and both are looks rather than speed.
Nothing here doubles anything, unlocks anything or does a job for you. Everything that affects a race is earned by playing.
The cosmetics back that up. Crates, wraps and mythic rolls all have badges attached, and every one of them is opened with keys rather than bought.
Tips for New Brace Players
- Redeem the codes before your first race. Five work and they pay the keys that open your crates.
- Build obstacles you can get past yourself. You have to drive the same course, so a wall that stops everybody stops you too.
- Learn the handbrake. Shift is what gets you round a corner at speed instead of into a barrier.
- Do not cut the course. Checkpoints are counted in order, so skipping one costs you the round.
- Hold your powerup. Two of the rarest badges are for long range hits, not for firing early.
- Expect bugs. The game page says so itself, in capital letters, at the very top.

Do you have to buy anything?
No. The shop is two car packs at 99 Robux each and neither makes you faster.

No, and it says so. The top line of the game page is a warning that it is early and bugs are common.
About Brace
Brace names the two games it was inspired by right there on its own page, which almost nothing does.
It also credits the artists who drew two of its pictures, and you can tell which ones they are. One is a hand-drawn cartoon and one is pixel art, sitting alongside two ordinary screenshots.
The game briefly renamed itself Build Race in early 2026, putting its own loop into the title for about two months before changing back.
Around 79 in every 100 votes are likes, on 52,956 votes. For a game that tells you at the top that it is buggy, that is a fair reception.
