Adopt Me Guide
Value List
“Which Adopt Me pets are worth the most, and how do you trade without getting scammed?”
Last Updated: June 2026
Adopt Me is one of the biggest pet games on Roblox, where players hatch pets, raise them, and trade them with each other. Some pets are worth almost nothing, and a few rare ones are worth a fortune.
There is no official price tag in the game. Instead, the trading community agrees on rough values, and those values go up and down all the time based on how rare a pet is and how many people want it.
The short answer: the limited 2019 dragons, like the Bat Dragon, Shadow Dragon, and Frost Dragon, sit at the very top, and their mega neon versions are the most valuable pets of all.
New to the game? Our Adopt Me wiki covers how to play, and the Adopt Me codes page has free rewards when they are available.
Below is the value list in rough bands, the pets everyone wants, how neon and mega neon work, and how to trade safely so you do not get scammed.
The Quick Answer
The most valuable pets in Adopt Me are the limited 2019 dragons. Bat Dragon, Shadow Dragon, and Frost Dragon sit at the top, and their mega neon versions are worth the most of all. After those come retired-egg legendaries like the Giraffe and Owl, then newer legendaries, with common and rare pets at the bottom. Remember that Adopt Me values are community estimates, not official prices, so they change often. Treat any value list as a rough guide, not a rule.
How Adopt Me Values Work
Adopt Me has five rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Ultra-Rare, and Legendary. The higher and rarer a pet is, the more it tends to be worth. But the game never tells you a price.
Instead, traders compare pets using rough community values, often measured against a common pet or a ride potion. Those numbers shift all the time as new eggs are added and old pets get rarer, which is why this chart uses bands, not exact prices.
On top of rarity, the biggest value booster is making a pet neon or mega neon. You combine four full-grown pets of the same kind at the Neon Cave to make a glowing neon, then four neons to make a rainbow mega neon. Fly and ride potions add value too, so a mega neon flying-and-riding pet (called an MFR) is worth far more than the plain version.
Adopt Me Value List (June 2026)
Here is the value list grouped into rough bands, from the most valuable pets down to the everyday ones. Within each band, exact values still move around, so use this to see which tier a pet sits in.
Top Tier
Mega Neon Bat Dragon, Mega Neon Shadow Dragon, Mega Neon Frost Dragon
The mega neon versions of the famous 2019 limited dragons. Each one takes four neon pets to make and almost nobody has them, so they sit at the very top of every value list.
Very High
Bat Dragon, Shadow Dragon, Frost Dragon, Giraffe, Owl, Evil Unicorn
The legendary limited pets from old Halloween and Christmas events and retired eggs. You cannot hatch them anymore, so demand always beats supply.
High
Crow, Kangaroo, Parrot, Arctic Reindeer, Queen Bee, Kitsune, Cerberus
Retired-egg and event legendaries that are gone for good. Their value keeps creeping up as fewer of them are left in the game.
Mid
Newer legendaries from current eggs, plus popular ultra-rares
Pets you can still hatch or earn today. They cost less on their own, but a neon or mega neon version still climbs the chart fast.
Low
Most Common, Uncommon, and Rare pets
Starter pets you hatch a lot of from cheap eggs. They hold little trade value on their own, but they are perfect for new traders and for combining into neons.
Adopt Me values are set by the trading community and change often as pets are added, retired, or go in and out of season. This chart shows rough bands for June 2026, not fixed prices, so always double-check current demand before a big trade. Never feel rushed into a deal just because a value list says one side is “worth more.”
The same pet is worth far more as a neon or mega neon. A mega neon fly-and-ride pet (MFR) sits at the top.
Most Wanted Pets Right Now
These are some of the pets traders chase the hardest. Demand can change, but each of these has stayed near the top for a long time.
| Pet |
Rarity |
Why it holds value |
| Bat Dragon |
Legendary (limited) |
A Halloween 2019 pet you can no longer hatch. Its mega neon version is the single most wanted pet in the game. |
| Shadow Dragon |
Legendary (limited) |
Another Halloween 2019 dragon, retired for years. It has stayed near the very top of every value list. |
| Frost Dragon |
Legendary (limited) |
A Christmas 2019 pet that is gone for good. Steady demand all year keeps its value high. |
| Giraffe |
Legendary (retired egg) |
From the old Safari Egg, which left the game long ago, so the supply only shrinks over time. |
| Owl |
Legendary (retired egg) |
From the retired Farm Egg. Rare and very popular, especially as a neon or mega neon. |
| Evil Unicorn |
Legendary (limited) |
A Halloween 2019 pet that is highly collectible and very hard to find now. |
How to Get Valuable Pets
You build up a collection a few different ways. Here is how it works.
1
Hatch pets from eggs
Buy eggs with Bucks and hatch them to get pets. Most pulls are common, but eggs are the main way to get new pets, so keep hatching as your Bucks add up.
2
Grow your pets all the way up
Take care of your pets to age them from newborn to full grown. You need full-grown pets to make neons, so growing them up is an important step toward higher value.
3
Make neons and mega neons
Combine four full-grown pets of the same kind at the Neon Cave to make a glowing neon, then combine four neons into a rainbow mega neon. Each step makes the pet worth a lot more.
4
Trade up from what you have
Start with the common pets you already own and trade them for slightly better ones. Repeat that over and over and you slowly climb toward legendaries without spending real money.
5
Grab codes and watch for events
Codes and seasonal events sometimes give free Bucks, pets, or items that become valuable later. See our Adopt Me codes page for what is working right now.
How to Trade Safely (Avoid Scams)
The most important part of trading: the value list is only useful if you do not get scammed. Scammers in trading games try to rush you, swap pets at the last second, or trick you into handing things over for free. The tips below keep your pets safe.
1
Values are estimates, not rules
A value list is a rough guide that changes all the time, not an official price. Do not let anyone tell you a trade is fair or unfair just because of one chart. Check current demand and decide for yourself.
2
Only use the in-game trade window
Real trades happen in the trade window where both players see every pet and item and have to tap accept. Never agree to a deal where you hand over a pet first, and never trust-trade with a stranger.
3
Slow down and recount
Scammers rush you and swap a valuable pet for a cheap one right before you accept, or sneak in an extra newborn to make a trade look even. Take your time, check both sides, and recount every pet before you tap accept.
4
Never share your account or password
No pet is worth your account. Roblox staff and honest traders will never ask for your password or login. If anyone asks, it is a scam, so close the chat. Learn more in our is Roblox safe for kids guide and our how to trade in Roblox guide.
Value List Tips
- Use the value list to learn which band a pet sits in, then trade based on what people actually want that day.
- A neon or mega neon version is worth far more than the plain pet, so growing and combining pets is the best way to add value.
- Limited event pets, like holiday pets, are worth the most after the event ends, so grab them while they are around.
- Start small. Trading up from common pets to a legendary is slow but safe, and it costs no real money.
- If a deal feels too good to be true, it usually is. Walk away from any trade that feels rushed.
