Pressure Monsters
“What are all the monsters in Pressure, and how do you survive each one?”
Last Updated: June 2026
Pressure is a deep-sea horror game on Roblox where you play the Convict, sent down into a flooded underwater base to grab a power crystal and escape.
To get out you walk through lots of doors, and scary monsters block the way. Knowing what each one does is the difference between escaping and getting caught.
The good news is that almost every monster gives you a warning, like the lights flickering or a strange sound, right before it strikes.
New to the game? Our Pressure wiki covers how to play, and the Pressure codes page lists any freebies.
Well, here is every Pressure monster, what it does, and the simplest way to survive it.
The Quick Answer
Most Pressure monsters are beaten the same way: when you see or hear the warning, jump into a locker and stay quiet until it passes. The hallway monsters (the Angler, Blitz, Froger, Pinkie, and Chainsmoker) all travel past you, so hiding works. A few are different: turn your flashlight off for Squiddles, look away from Eyefestation, and never open a locker with glowing eyes inside, because that is Void-Mass. Pandemonium is the scariest, since it is super fast and an instant kill.
Hallway Monsters in Pressure
These are the monsters you meet most. They travel down the hallway, so the trick is simple: hide in a locker and wait for them to go by. The hard part is knowing which one is coming, because each gives a slightly different warning.
| Monster |
How to survive it |
| The Angler |
The main monster. When the lights flicker, get into a locker and stay there until it passes by and the hall is quiet. |
| Blitz |
A super-fast version of the Angler. The lights flicker really quickly, so jump into a locker right away because you only get a second or two. |
| Froger |
Travels down the hallway and then bounces back again, so stay hidden until everything goes silent, not just after the first pass. |
| Pinkie |
A rare one that does not flicker the lights at all. Your only warning is a high screech, so hide the moment you hear it. |
| Chainsmoker |
Comes with flickering lights and rattling chains. It puffs green smoke that pushes you out of lockers, so hide early as soon as the screen shakes. |
A quick cheat sheet: match the warning sign to the right move. Lights flicker means get in a locker, a screech means Pinkie, green smoke means Chainsmoker, and glowing eyes in a locker mean do not open it.
Other Monsters and Threats
Not every danger plays by the locker rule. These ones need a different move, so read each one carefully before your next run.
| Threat |
How to survive it |
| Pandemonium |
Crazy fast and an instant kill. It will smash open a locker if it saw you hide, so get out of sight before it spots you. |
| Wall Dwellers |
Creep out of cracks in the walls and doors. Look right at them to push them back, and check behind you often. |
| Squiddles |
Turn your flashlight off the second you see them, then keep your distance while you find the way out. |
| Void-Mass |
Purple blobs that hide inside lockers. If you spot glowing eyes or hear breathing in a locker, do not open it. |
| Eyefestation |
A wall of staring eyes. Look away from it or you slowly take damage, so keep your camera pointed somewhere else. |
| Bottomfeeder |
Lurks in the flooded Dredge area and only attacks in the water, so climb onto dry ground to stay safe. |
Not everyone wants to hurt you: meet Sebastian Solace
Around door 50 you meet Sebastian Solace, a friendly shopkeeper. He will not attack you. Instead he trades helpful items for the research and items you have picked up along the way, so it is worth saving up to visit his shop.
Tips to Survive Pressure
- Lockers are your best friend. Hop in the moment the lights flicker, then wait for the hallway to go quiet.
- Keep your flashlight charged, but turn it off around Squiddles and whenever you want to stay hidden.
- Listen closely. Footsteps, screeches, and rattling chains all tell you which monster is near.
- Learn the warning signs in the cheat sheet above so you react fast instead of freezing up.
- Playing with friends makes runs easier and a lot less scary, and remember to only chat with people you actually know.
