How to Play Pressure
Every run sends you deeper into the Blacksite, one door at a time. Here is the basic flow:
1. Start the dive. You spawn as the Convict at the top of the underwater facility and begin heading down through numbered doors.
2. Move through the doors. Open each door and keep going. Your goal is to reach the crystal and the way out, which is over a hundred doors deep.
3. Watch for monsters. When the lights flicker or you hear a strange sound, hide in a locker or use the right move. Our Pressure monsters guide covers every one.
4. Use your items. Pick up flashlights to see in the dark and tools like the Code Breacher to open locked rooms, and keep an eye on your flashlight battery.
5. Reach the end and escape. Grab the crystal and make it to the extraction point to win the run and earn rewards.
Gameplay and Strategy
Pressure is all about moving forward carefully. Each room can hide a monster, a puzzle, or a hazard like electrified water, hot steam, or a hole in the floor. Lockers are dotted around so you can duck in and hide when something dangerous comes by.
The monsters are the heart of the game, and each one needs a different response. Some you hide from, some you look away from, and some you avoid by turning off your flashlight. You can learn them all in our Pressure monsters guide. Around door 50 you also meet Sebastian Solace, a friendly shop where you trade for helpful items.
You earn Kroner, the in-game money, as you progress, and you spend it on gear that makes future runs easier. Playing with friends helps a lot, since you can share the job of watching for threats and revive each other when things go wrong.
Tips for New Players
- Hide in a locker the moment the lights flicker, then wait until the hallway goes quiet before you come out.
- Learn each monster’s warning sign. Our monsters guide breaks down every entity and how to beat it.
- Save your Kroner for useful gear, and visit Sebastian Solace’s shop around door 50.
- Keep your flashlight charged, but turn it off when you need to stay hidden (especially near Squiddles).
- Play with friends if you can. Co-op makes the scary parts way easier, and only chat with people you actually know.
