Evade Nextbots
“Which bots are chasing you, what makes the special ones scary, and how do you get away?”
Last Updated: July 2026
Evade is one of the biggest chase games on Roblox. Up to 15 players sprint, slide, and parkour across a map while nextbots, which are giant walking meme pictures, hunt anyone they spot.
The roster is huge. More than 159 nextbots are in the game right now, and over 270 have existed in total, counting retired and removed ones. Only 2 to 4 chase you in any single round, so every match feels different.
They are not all the same, either. Most bots are simple meme chasers, a few specials come with nasty powers, and the June 2026 Darkest Hours crossover added a whole new breed of 3D nextbots.
New to the game? Our Evade wiki covers the basics, and the Evade codes page lists any freebies you can claim.
Below is the full nextbot list sorted by type, plus the tricks and gear that keep you alive when one locks on.
The Quick Answer
Nextbots in Evade fall into five groups: Common meme bots like Sanic and Freddy Fazbear, Special bots with powers like Angry Munci and his big speed boost, the new 3D nextbots from the Darkest Hours crossover such as Trollge, Defect, and Rolling Giant, Exclusive event bots, and Legacy or Removed bots like Obunga, who is no longer in the game. To survive, keep moving, jump while you sprint, and revive downed teammates the moment the coast is clear.
How a Round of Evade Works
Before the list, here is the loop every round follows. Once you know it, the bot types below make a lot more sense.
1
A few bots spawn and start hunting. Each round drops 2 to 4 nextbots onto the map. They wander set paths until they spot someone, and then the chase is on. One touch is enough to put you on the ground.
2
Watch and listen for warnings. Every bot plays its own looping sound when it gets near. Lights flicker and your screen slowly turns red as one closes in, so you always get a heads-up before it arrives.
3
Keep moving and never camp. Most bots are a touch slower than a sprinting player, and jumping while you run makes you even faster. Hiding in a corner is exactly how the special bots catch you.
4
Revive your team and outlast the round. Downed friends can be carried and revived. You can go down twice, but the third time you are out until the next round. Every third round adds a special twist, and our Evade wiki covers those.
All Nextbots in Evade by Type
Here is every group, what it means for you, and who is in it. Evade gets updates and crossovers all the time, so treat the exact rosters as a snapshot rather than set in stone.
| Bot type |
What it means |
Who is in it |
| Common |
Regular meme pictures that chase you at normal speed. Almost the whole roster lives here, and you can outrun them if you keep moving. |
Sanic, Freddy Fazbear, Baller, Blue Lobster, John Cena, MrBeast, Peter Griffin, Chill Guy, El Gato, Herobrine, Sans, The Rock, Tralalero, and well over a hundred more |
| Special |
Bots with an extra trick, like a big speed boost or a weapon. Angry Munci is far faster than a normal bot and even has his own round. |
Angry Munci, Super Munci, Rebel, Mimic, Slasher, the Team Fortress crew (Heavy, Pyro, Spy, and friends), Bobo R6, Jard R6 |
| 3D Nextbots |
Full 3D models added in the June 2026 Darkest Hours crossover. They are here to stay, they star in their own special rounds, and some can charge or jump. |
Trollge, Defect, Bacteria, Baldi, Eyeless, Pac Man, Triple T, and Rolling Giant (who only appears in Valley View Mall) |
| Exclusive |
Bots tied to events, holidays, and private servers. You will not bump into most of these in a normal public round. |
Turkey, Bee, Pootis, Interloper, Bunny Bobo, Noob Driver, and the Rebel squad variants |
| Legacy and Removed |
Bots that were retired or taken out of the game. You cannot meet them anymore, but players still talk about them all the time. |
Among Us, Squidward, Nyancat, RobbieRotten, plus removed bots like Obunga, Mario, M3GAN, and Slenderman |
The nextbots everyone asks about
Obunga is the most famous nextbot of all, and he is gone. He was removed back in September 2022 after a Roblox moderation ruling, and his pictures around the game were swapped for tbh. Angry Munci is the speed demon of the roster, so fast that he gets his own special round. Sanic is the classic that started the nextbot meme, and the new stars are Trollge and Rolling Giant from the 3D update. If a bot you loved vanishes, it probably moved to the Legacy shelf.
Why does the nextbot list keep changing? Evade runs crossovers with other games, like the Nico’s Nextbots, Forsaken, and Darkest Hours updates, and each one brings new bots. Players also submit their own bot ideas to the developers, and Roblox moderation sometimes forces a removal, which is what happened to Obunga. So the roster grows almost every month, and no list stays perfect for long.
Green rows are things to plan around. Red rows mean a bot is already on you.
How to Survive a Nextbot Chase
Escaping is mostly about movement, but the item shop sells tools that make it much easier. They unlock as you level up, and buying a utility usually gives you three at once. Here is the gear worth bringing.
| Tool |
What it does |
When to bring it |
| Flashlight, Headlamp, Lantern |
Basic light so you can see where you are running. |
Dark maps and night areas |
| Night Vision |
Lets you see clearly when the whole map goes black. |
Darkness special rounds |
| Radar |
Shows you where the bots are before you hear them. |
Quiet rounds, when bots make no idle sound |
| Decoy Panel |
Drops a walking fake player that bots chase for a few seconds. |
Rescuing downed teammates or shaking off a chase |
| Grapple |
Hooks onto walls and swings you across the map fast. |
Big maps, quick escapes, and reaching objectives |
| Stun Baton |
Briefly stuns a bot that gets too close, so do not miss. |
Emergencies when a chase corners you |
| Defibrillator and Revive Grenade |
Bring downed teammates back on their feet fast. |
Every round, because someone always goes down |
Can you fight back? Technically yes, practically no. Nextbots have around 500,000 health, so even with weapons from a private server it takes forever to bring one down. A Stun Baton can freeze one for a moment and a Decoy Panel can trick it, but running will always beat fighting. Movement is the whole game.
Tips for Escaping Nextbots
- Jump while you sprint. You move faster in the air, and chaining jumps outruns almost every bot in the game.
- Learn the maps and avoid dead ends. Most chases end badly in a room with one door.
- Never camp in one spot. Some special bots can reach camping spots, and specials punish players who stand still.
- Revive fast. A two-person squad that keeps picking each other up survives far longer than a lone runner.
- Check the Evade codes page for freebies before you queue up.
Evade Nextbots FAQ
How many nextbots are in Evade?
More than 159 nextbots are in the game right now, and over 270 have existed in total when you count retired and removed ones. Only 2 to 4 are active in any single round, so you never face the whole roster at once.
What is the fastest nextbot in Evade?
Angry Munci. He is far faster than a regular bot, fast enough that the game gives him his own special round where he is the only hunter. Super Munci and the speed-boosted special rounds are the other big threats.
Is Obunga still in Evade?
No. Obunga was removed in September 2022 along with Crepeounga after a Roblox moderation ruling, and his images were replaced with the tbh bot. He remains the most famous nextbot the game has ever had.
What are the 3D nextbots in Evade?
They arrived in the June 2026 Evade x Darkest Hours crossover and they are permanent. The lineup is Trollge, Defect, Bacteria, Baldi, Eyeless, Pac Man, Triple T, and Rolling Giant, who only spawns in Valley View Mall. Several of them star in their own special rounds.
Can you kill a nextbot in Evade?
Barely. Nextbots have around 500,000 health, so while weapons can technically hurt them, wearing one down almost never happens in a real match. Stick to running, jumping, and using tools like the Decoy Panel.
Does Evade have codes?
Check our Evade codes page for the current list. We track new and expired codes so you do not have to test them yourself.
