Project Ghoul is a Roblox RPG based on the anime Tokyo Ghoul. You play as either a ghoul or a human investigator called a CCG, and the whole point is to get stronger, unlock better kagune or quinque weapons, and fight other players or NPCs. If you’re into anime games with a dark vibe and a decent grind, this one has a lot going on.
What You Actually Do in Project Ghoul
At the start you pick your race, ghoul or CCG, and that shapes everything. Ghouls eat humans to gain RC cells and level up their kagune, which are the creepy biological weapons that grow out of your body. CCG investigators use quinque weapons instead, which are basically tools crafted from defeated ghouls.
The main loop is grinding kills to rank up. You move through tiers like D-rank, C-rank, B-rank and so on, unlocking new abilities and stronger forms as you go. Ghoul players can eventually awaken into powerful forms like the ones you’d recognize from the anime, and CCG players can upgrade to better quinque classes.
There are different zones around the map with stronger enemies as you go further out, and PvP is pretty much everywhere. You can also join organizations, which work kind of like clans. It adds a team element so you’re not just grinding solo the whole time.
The Good Parts and the Frustrating Ones
The combat actually feels pretty good once you get a feel for it. Kagune abilities look great, the awakening forms are genuinely cool, and fighting other players when you’re evenly matched is a lot of fun. The anime aesthetic is done well too, way better than a lot of other Tokyo Ghoul Roblox games.
That said, the grind is brutal. Early game especially, getting enough RC cells or kills to rank up takes forever. You’ll also run into higher-rank players who just camp lower zones and one-shot new players constantly. It can be pretty discouraging if you’re just starting out.
The game still has an active playerbase but updates have slowed down noticeably. Some bugs have been sitting there for a while without getting fixed. It’s not dead, but it’s also not getting the regular content drops it used to get. Worth playing, just go in knowing it’s more of a grind than a casual game.
If you want to make the grind easier, our Project Ghoul Scripts include things like auto-farm and auto-kill so you can rank up without spending hours on repetitive kills. We also have a regularly updated Project Ghoul Codes list with any free RC boosts, spins, and other freebies the devs drop.
