How to Play Sesame Street Mecha Builders
- Load in and look at what is broken. Every level starts with a problem somebody needs fixing.
- Check which tool you have been given. The game hands you what the level wants you to use.
- Match the tool to the problem. Too high wants the spring boots, too heavy wants the gloves.
- Read anything written on a wall or a board. One level puts a recipe up for you to follow.
- Take your time. Nothing is chasing you and there is no timer in this game.
- Finish the level to earn its marker. There is one for each of the four.
- Play them in order. The game gives you the next one when you are done.

Knowing all six in advance is most of the game. Nearly every puzzle is a question about which one fits.
One level is a little different. It asks you to make bubbles, and it writes the recipe on a whiteboard in the room: water, then soap, then glycerin.
Sesame Street Mecha Builders Gameplay: One Player, No Shop, No Timer
Three things make this game unusual, and all three are worth knowing before you start.
The first is that it holds one player per server. That is rare on Roblox. Nobody else is in your level, so nothing can be rushed or ruined by somebody else.
The second is that there is no shop. Not one thing in this game is for sale, which for a game with 93 million visits is close to unheard of.
The third is that nothing is timed. You can stand and look at a puzzle for as long as you like, which matters in a game aimed at four year olds.
What you get instead is four levels, six tools and three characters, all of it free from the moment you load in.

There is no badge for simply joining this game, so these counts cannot be turned into a share of everybody who has played. They only compare with each other.
Read down the list and it slopes gently. Each step keeps somewhere between six and seven in every ten players from the step before.
That is a kind shape and it is the right one here. There is no wall anywhere, which is exactly what a puzzle game for young children should look like.
The last one arrived nine months after the other three. Bubble Booster was added in May 2023, so that level came along after the game had been out for a while.
Two of the names give away their levels. Cow Collector fits because the game has Muppet cows in it, and Bubble Booster is the level with the recipe on the whiteboard.
The Game Came Out Before The Cartoon
This is the best thing about the game and hardly anybody knows it.
Mecha Builders is a Sesame Street cartoon. It showed a preview episode on the 30th of April 2022 and properly began on the 9th of May that year.
This Roblox game went up on the 28th of April 2022. That is two days before the preview and eleven days before the show started.
So children could play as Mecha Elmo before they could watch him. The game was the advert for the cartoon, not the other way round.
There is one wrinkle worth being straight about. The same wiki that dates the release also says the game launched in September 2022, and the badges were made at the end of that August. An early opening followed by a fuller launch fits both.
The Show Ended and the Game Carried On
The cartoon ran for one season of 26 episodes and finished on the 24th of November 2023. It was animated by a Canadian studio called Guru Studio.
The game did not stop with it. Its page was last updated in October 2025, which is nearly two years after the last episode aired.
That is unusual for a game built around a television programme. Most of them are switched off and forgotten within months of the show ending.
The show itself has kept going in other ways too. A complete series set came out in April 2024 and the episodes later turned up on PBS.
The Studio Behind It
This is made by Whacky Wizards, a verified Roblox studio with 1,128,982 members, run by a developer who goes by jandel.
They are better known for something else. Their game Wacky Wizards has passed a billion visits, which puts it among the biggest on the whole platform.
So a studio with a billion visit hit took on a licensed game for four year olds, and then gave it no shop at all.
Their list of places is worth a look too. Three of the rooms attached to this game still carry the working title it had before release, and two more are simply named as Level 3 and Level 4.

- Learn the six tools first. Nearly every puzzle is a question about which one fits.
- Look up before you look around. A lot of the answers are above you, and the spring boots exist for that.
- Read anything written in the room. The bubble level puts its recipe on a board in plain sight.
- Do not rush. Nothing in this game is timed and nothing can catch you.
