Peroxide Tier List
“Which race and clan combo actually gives you the strongest build?”
Last Updated: July 2026
Peroxide is the Bleach-inspired fighting game where the race you pick at the start shapes almost everything about how you play, from your moveset to which clans you can even use.
The game has pulled in more than 400 million visits and stays genuinely active, with the developers pushing an update as recently as the day before this guide was written.
Every race unlocks its own pool of clans, and the exact tier placement of any single clan tends to shift a little depending on which tracker you check. We cross-referenced several of them to find the picks that hold up no matter the source.
New to the game? Our Peroxide wiki covers the basics, and the Peroxide codes page lists any free rerolls you can grab before you start grinding.
Below is how the races actually compare, the clans worth chasing in each one, and why some race tier lists online get the faction system wrong.
The Quick Answer
Hollow (once evolved into Arrancar) and Soul Reaper sit at the top, with Quincy a solid but consistently weaker third pick. For clans, the names that show up near the top across every tracker are Yamamoto, Kurosaki, and Aizen for Soul Reaper, Yhwach and Ishida for Quincy, and Louisenbairn, Jaegerjaquez, and Starrk for Hollow and Arrancar.
How Races Actually Work in Peroxide
A lot of race tier lists online mix up starting choices with evolution stages, so here is how the system actually works before the comparison. Every ranking below is really ranking a piece of this loop.
1
Pick your starting race first. Talk to the right NPC as a fresh spawn: Kisuke for Soul Reaper, Gunther for Quincy, or die and pull your chain 5 times for Hollow. Fullbringer is unlocked separately by talking to Tsukishima.
2
Hollow players evolve through stages, not a single choice. Menos, then Adjuchas, then Vasto Lorde, then finally Arrancar, which unlocks Resurrection. This is the single longest progression path in the game, and it is why Arrancar shows up as its own top-tier entry even though it starts as a Hollow.
3
Soul Reaper and Quincy level up their signature systems directly. Shikai into Bankai for Soul Reaper, Vollstandig for Quincy. No evolution stages here, just leveling and unlocking.
4
Pick your clan once your race is set. Every race has its own pool of named clans, each with different stat multipliers and sometimes a unique ability. Check the Peroxide codes page for free rerolls before you commit.
The Races Compared
Peroxide has four real starting paths, though most tier list sites only talk about three (more on that below). Here is how the three most commonly compared paths actually stack up, with Fullbringer covered separately since it plays so differently.
| Path |
Signature system |
Playstyle |
Current standing |
| Hollow, evolving into Arrancar |
Menos, then Adjuchas, then Vasto Lorde, then Arrancar, unlocking Resurrection. |
A long grind that pays off with some of the strongest late-game stat multipliers in the game. |
Widely treated as the top path once you reach Arrancar, alongside Soul Reaper. |
| Soul Reaper |
Shikai, then Bankai, plus the rare Horn of Salvation clan skill for top players. |
The most balanced and beginner-friendly path with a huge pool of named clans to chase. |
Sits at the top alongside Arrancar, and it is the easier of the two to start. |
| Quincy |
Vollstandig transformation and bow-based ranged combat with Quincy techniques. |
A ranged specialist kit that rewards precision over close-range trading. |
A solid pick, but consistently ranked a step behind the other two paths. |
Why some Peroxide race tier lists are wrong
Some sites list “Arrancar” as a race you pick at character creation, sitting alongside Soul Reaper and Quincy. It is not. Arrancar is what a Hollow becomes after climbing through Menos, Adjuchas, and Vasto Lorde. You start as a Hollow, not an Arrancar.
Most tier lists also skip Fullbringer entirely, even though it is a real fourth starting path with its own quest chain and six known Fullbring types. It is just newer and less common, not nonexistent, so treat any “only 3 races” claim as outdated or incomplete.
Every clan listed here appears in the top tier on more than one tracker, even when the exact letter grade or Legendary sub-ranking differs.
Best Clans by Faction
Your race decides which clan pool you can pull from, and the clan you land on matters just as much as the race itself. Rather than repeat one site’s exact S-tier cutoff, here are the picks that show up near the top no matter which tracker you check.
| Faction |
Top picks |
Why |
| Soul Reaper clans |
Yamamoto, Kurosaki, Aizen |
These three land in the very top tier on every tracker we checked, with Yamamoto in particular offering a big EXP boost plus stat buffs on top of it. |
| Quincy clans |
Yhwach, Ishida |
Both are Legendary-rarity clans with a strong strength-and-spirit balance that trackers agree on without exception. |
| Hollow / Arrancar clans |
Louisenbairn, Jaegerjaquez, Starrk |
Louisenbairn in particular offers some of the highest overall stat multipliers of any clan in the game, Hollow included. |
Why do a couple of clans swing between sources? Zaraki lands in the very top tier on one tracker but only mid-tier on another. Louisenbairn shows up as a clear top pick on two trackers but is missing from a third’s ranked list entirely, even though that same source calls it one of the strongest EXP-boosting clans in the game in its own writeup. Small differences in how each site weighs raw stat multipliers versus unique abilities explain most of this, so treat the consensus picks above as the safer bet and anything contested as worth testing yourself.
What about Fullbringer? Fullbringer is a real fourth starting path, unlocked by talking to Tsukishima and completing a quest chain through level 15 that ends in a timed survival fight. There are six known Fullbring types once you get one, but the path is used by a smaller slice of the playerbase and most trackers do not cover it in detail yet, so we are not force-ranking it against the other three. If you want something different from the usual Soul Reaper or Hollow grind, it is worth trying once you understand the unlock quest.
Tips for Picking a Race and Clan
- Try Soul Reaper first if you are new. It has the most forgiving early game and the deepest clan pool to experiment with.
- Commit to the Hollow evolution chain early if you want Arrancar. The Menos-to-Vasto-Lorde grind is long, so starting late just delays your strongest build.
- Save clan rerolls for the consensus picks above rather than gambling on a contested one until you have tested it yourself.
- Do not trust a “3 races” claim at face value. Fullbringer is real and unlocked through a separate quest, not a starting choice.
- Legendary-rarity clans beat lower-rarity clans almost every time, regardless of which specific clan you land on.
- Check the Peroxide codes page for free rerolls before you grind for a specific clan.
Peroxide Tier List FAQ
What is the best race in Peroxide?
Hollow, once evolved into Arrancar, and Soul Reaper are both widely treated as the top paths. Quincy is a solid ranged option but consistently ranks a step behind the other two.
Is Arrancar a starting race in Peroxide?
No. Arrancar is what a Hollow becomes after evolving through Menos, Adjuchas, and Vasto Lorde. You start the game as a Hollow, not an Arrancar, so any list that shows Arrancar as a pick-one-at-creation option is oversimplifying the system.
What is the best Soul Reaper clan in Peroxide?
Yamamoto, Kurosaki, and Aizen all land in the top tier across every tracker we checked, with Yamamoto specifically offering a large EXP boost on top of its stat buffs.
What is the best Quincy clan in Peroxide?
Yhwach and Ishida are the two Quincy clans that show up as top picks everywhere, both offering a strong balance of strength and spirit stats.
What is the best Hollow or Arrancar clan in Peroxide?
Louisenbairn is usually called the strongest, offering some of the highest overall stat multipliers of any clan in the game. Jaegerjaquez and Starrk are also strong, consistent picks.
Does Peroxide have Fullbringer as a race?
Yes. Fullbringer is a real fourth starting path unlocked through a quest chain, not one of the three most commonly discussed races. It is newer and less common, which is why most tier lists skip it, not because it does not exist.
