In Huss Valley, one Chaser tries to tag everyone else before they make it across. Get caught and you become a Chaser too. Abilities are what give you an edge, on either side.
This page lists all 10 abilities, what each one does and what it costs in Gems right now. It also shows which ones are the best value. Checked on October 23, 2026.
Quick answer. There are 5 Runner abilities and 5 Chaser abilities. One Hit Shield and Bear Trap are free. The cheapest paid ones are Bowling Ball at 600 Gems and Pocket Door at 875. Cloak and Rufus’s Leash cost the most, at 1,625 each.

| Inflatable Decoy |
1,200 |
Sends a fake copy of you running ahead for 7 seconds. It pops when caught. |

| One Hit Shield |

Chaser abilities
Chasers use these to catch Runners. You can also take one of these into each match, so you always have one for each side.

Prices went up in October

If you saw lower prices somewhere else, that is because the game raised them in October. Pocket Door used to cost 400 Gems. Now it is 875, which is 2.2 times as much.

Big Dagger went up the least. All 7 together went from 6,100 to 9,200 Gems, which is 51% more. Bowling Ball is not in this table because its old price is not known.
Which ability is the best value?
For Runners, Pocket Door. It blocks the Chaser for 6 seconds and costs 875 Gems. Cloak hides you for only 3 seconds and costs 1,625. So Pocket Door gives you twice the time for about half the Gems.
For Chasers, Bowling Ball. It is the cheapest paid ability in the game, at 600 Gems, and it trips a Runner from far away.
Saving up? Cloak and Rufus’s Leash are the big buys. Cloak still lets you get hit, so use it to break away, not to hide in one spot.
Gems or Robux?
You can also unlock abilities with Robux. The Robux price is always about 80% of the Gem price. Put another way, 1.25 Gems are worth about 1 Robux here.

Tips for using abilities
- Practice with the free One Hit Shield first. Its window is very short, so timing matters.
- Drop Pocket Door in a narrow spot, so the Chaser cannot just go around it.
- Throw Bear Trap where a Runner is going, not where they are now.
- Save Rufus’s Leash for a Runner who has just used their dash.
- Your dash only goes left or right. Press Space while holding A or D.
- Ask a parent before you spend Robux.
