Basketball Zero Tier List
“Which style should you spin for, and which ones can you not get at all?”
Last Updated: July 2026
Your style is what makes you dangerous in Basketball Zero, and you get one by spinning. But here is the problem with almost every tier list out there: most of the famous styles at the top of them cannot actually be obtained.
This guide fixes that. It ranks the styles you can actually spin for, tells you the real odds, and lists exactly which styles are off the table, so you stop chasing ghosts.
New here? Our Basketball Zero wiki covers the basics, and the Basketball Zero codes page lists free spins.
The Quick Answer
The best obtainable style is Emperor, a Miracle-rarity pick. Among more reachable styles, the Mythics (Copycat, Ace, Giant, Jackpot) are the sweet spot.
And ignore any list telling you to chase Perfection or Basketball God. Those are unobtainable. You cannot spin for them.
The Styles You Cannot Actually Get
Over two dozen styles are flagged unobtainable, including the most famous ones
These styles show up at the top of nearly every Basketball Zero tier list, which makes people spin for them for hours. The game’s own wiki marks all of them as unobtainable or limited:
Perfection, Basketball God, Chrollo, Honored One, Curse King, Judgement, Luka Doncic, Genius, Psychic, Rubberman, Symbiote, Vampire, Joker, Ghost, King, Air, Silver, Eclipse, Dealer, Switcher, Spider, Lazy Worker, Popstar, Cyber, Tatlis.
The only way to get one is the Black Market, where a single style is offered for $3,000,000, with a stock of one, rotating every week. In other words, you cannot reliably get these at all. Do not build your spin plan around them.
These are the styles most guides rank at the top. You cannot roll any of them.
The Real Spin Odds
Here is the full gacha table for the styles you can obtain. Look closely at the Legendary and Miracle rows.
| Rarity |
Normal spin |
Lucky Spin |
What to know |
| Rare |
62% |
Not available |
The default result on a normal spin. |
| Epic |
35% |
Not available |
Still very common. |
| Legendary |
2% |
93% |
A Lucky Spin almost guarantees one. This is what Lucky Spins are actually for. |
| Mythic |
1% |
5% |
A step above Legendary in rarity, five times more likely on a Lucky Spin. |
| Miracle |
0.25% |
2% |
The best obtainable rarity. Note it only goes to 2% on a Lucky Spin, because Legendary eats 93% of the pool. |
| Limited |
0.25% |
1% |
Time-restricted styles that vanish when their event ends. |
The Lucky Spin paradox
A Lucky Spin takes Legendary from 2 percent to a huge 93 percent. That is fantastic if you want a Legendary, but it is exactly why a Lucky Spin is a poor way to hunt a Miracle. Miracle only climbs from 0.25 percent to 2 percent, because that 93 percent Legendary rate crowds out almost everything else. Use Lucky Spins to guarantee a Legendary, not to chase the top rarity.
Basketball Zero Style Tier List (Obtainable Only)
Only styles you can actually spin for are ranked here, sorted by rarity. That is the whole point of this list.
| Tier |
Rarity and odds |
Styles |
What to know |
| S |
Miracle (0.25%) |
Emperor, Gold, Basketball Unc |
The best styles you can actually spin for. All three are Miracle rarity, the rarest obtainable tier at a quarter of one percent. |
| A |
Mythic (1%) |
Copycat, Ace, Giant, Jackpot |
Excellent and far more reachable than Miracle. Copycat in particular is a nightmare to play against because it borrows what you do. |
| B |
Legendary (2%) |
Sniper, Star, Lock, Flash, Thief |
The workhorse tier, and the one a Lucky Spin basically hands you. Lock and Star are strong on defense and offense respectively. |
| C |
Epic (35%) |
Fetch, Phantom, Playmaker |
Genuinely useful while you build up. Playmaker is a solid all-rounder for learning the game. |
| D |
Rare (62%) |
Quick, Chuck, Clutch |
What you pull most of the time. Fine to start on, then reroll toward something better. |
Remember: Styles Counter Each Other
Basketball Zero has a real Style Counters system, so the tier list is only half the picture. Broadly, defensive styles counter offensive ones, so the “best” style depends partly on who you are up against.
That is good news if you cannot roll a top style. A well-chosen defensive pick like Lock can shut down a flashier offensive style, which is why matchup knowledge matters as much as rarity here.
Best Style for Every Goal
| Your goal |
Style |
Why |
| Best obtainable style |
Emperor |
A Miracle style, and the strongest thing you can realistically spin for. |
| Best value pick |
Any Mythic |
Copycat, Ace, Giant or Jackpot. Much more reachable than Miracle and still elite. |
| Best use of a Lucky Spin |
Guarantee a Legendary |
Legendary is 93% on a Lucky Spin. Do not use them to hunt Miracle. |
| Best for defense |
Lock |
A Legendary that shuts down offensive styles, and defense counters a lot in this game. |
| Best for beginners |
Playmaker |
An Epic all-rounder that teaches you the fundamentals. |
| What to stop chasing |
The unobtainable styles |
Perfection, Basketball God and the rest cannot be spun for at all. |
Tips for Spinning Smart
- Do not spin for unobtainable styles. Perfection, Basketball God and the rest are not in the pool.
- Use Lucky Spins to guarantee a Legendary, not to chase Miracle.
- Learn the counters. A defensive style you understand beats an offensive style you do not.
- Watch the Black Market each week if you truly want a limited style, but do not count on it.
- Grab free spins from the Basketball Zero codes page first.
Basketball Zero adds and rotates styles regularly, and limited styles move in and out of the Black Market weekly. We keep this page current with what is actually obtainable. Grab free spins on the Basketball Zero codes page.
Basketball Zero Tier List FAQ
What is the best style in Basketball Zero?
The best obtainable style is Emperor, a Miracle-rarity pick. The Mythic styles (Copycat, Ace, Giant, Jackpot) are the best value since they are far easier to roll.
Why can’t I get Perfection or Basketball God?
Because they are flagged unobtainable. Over two dozen famous styles, including those two, cannot be spun for. The only route is the Black Market, at $3,000,000 with a weekly stock of one.
Are Lucky Spins worth it?
For a Legendary, absolutely, they take it from 2 percent to 93 percent. But they are a bad way to chase a Miracle, which only rises from 0.25 percent to 2 percent.
What is the best obtainable rarity?
Miracle, at 0.25 percent. Below it sits Mythic at 1 percent, which is the realistic target for most players.
Do styles counter each other?
Yes. Basketball Zero has a Style Counters system where defensive styles generally counter offensive ones, so matchups matter alongside rarity.
Does Basketball Zero have codes?
Yes. Check our Basketball Zero codes page for the current list. Codes usually give free spins.
