Attack on Titan Revolution Tier List
“Which family is worth rerolling for, and what does it cost you?”
Last Updated: July 2026
Your family is the biggest single choice in Attack on Titan Revolution, and you do not choose it. You roll for it.
So a tier list is only half of what you need. The other half is knowing your real odds, and knowing what the best family quietly takes away from you. Both of those are on this page, and both come straight from the game’s own data.
New here? Our Attack on Titan Revolution wiki covers the basics, and the Attack on Titan Revolution codes page lists free rerolls.
The Quick Answer
The best family is Helos (Mythical), with +30% ODM and Titan Shifter damage, +20% raid damage, and an extra perk slot.
But the one you actually need to think about is Ackerman. It hits harder than anything else in the game, and it can never become a titan shifter. That is not a small footnote, it locks you out of half the game.
The Reality of Rerolling
Nearly 80 percent of your rolls give you nothing at all
Common families come up 79.965 percent of the time, and the game’s own wiki puts it bluntly: Common families have no stats. Not a small bonus. Nothing.
So roughly four out of every five rerolls are a complete write-off. A Mythical is 0.025 percent, which is about 1 in 4,000. Go in knowing that, and save your rerolls for when you actually have a stack of them.
The numbers nobody puts in front of you before you start rerolling.

Families |
What to know |
| S |
Mythical (0.025%, about 1 in 4,000) |
Fritz, Helos |
The best families in the game. Helos gives +30% ODM and Titan Shifter damage, +20% raid damage, and an extra Offense and Support perk slot. Fritz unlocks any family’s exclusive shifter skills. |
| A |
Legendary (0.06%, about 1 in 1,667) |
Ackerman, Yeager, Reiss |
Elite, but read the fine print. Ackerman hits hardest of any family and yet it cannot become a titan shifter at all. Yeager is the best all-round shifter pick, and Reiss is the money and XP family. |
| B |
Epic (0.35%) |
Zoe, Tybur, Leonhart, Galliard, Finger, Braun, Arlert, Ksaver |
Genuinely good families, each tuned to a specific titan. Note Zoe also cannot shift, but it gives the best ODM control and speed in the tier. |
| C |
Rare (19.6%) |
Smith, Springer, Kirstein, Grice, Azumabito, Braus, Kruger |
Small bonuses with a small downside attached to most of them. Perfectly fine while you build up, and you will roll these constantly. |
| D |
Common (79.965%) |
Reeves, Blouse, Inocenio, Munsell, Boyega, Ral, Bozado, Pikale, Hume and more |
These give you nothing. Not a small bonus, nothing. The wiki says it outright: Common families have no stats. |
The Shifter Trade-Off Nobody Warns You About
This is the part that catches people out, and most tier lists just put Ackerman near the top and say nothing.
Ackerman is the hardest-hitting family in the game. Its stat line also says, word for word, “Cannot become a titan shifter.” Zoe carries the same restriction.
So before you celebrate an Ackerman roll, decide what you actually want to play. If titan shifting is part of your plan, Ackerman is not an upgrade, it is a dead end. If you only ever fight on ODM gear, it is the best thing you can get.

Tips for Rerolling
- Decide whether you want to shift before you chase Ackerman. It is the best damage family and it permanently cannot shift.
- Never settle on a Common. They have no stats at all, and they are four out of every five rolls.
- A good Epic beats a bad Legendary for your build. Zoe on an ODM build is better than a Reiss you do not use.
- Remember perks are the other half of your build, and perk levels reset when you prestige.
- Stock up on free rerolls from the Attack on Titan Revolution codes page first.
Attack on Titan Revolution patches often, and perks in particular get rebalanced regularly. Family odds have been stable. We keep this page current. Grab free rerolls on the Attack on Titan Revolution codes page.
