World of Stands is a Roblox game built around the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure universe, and if you know anything about JoJo, you already know why people go crazy for it. The whole point is getting powerful Stands, fighting other players, and climbing up the strength ladder. It’s a gacha-style RPG with PvP thrown in, and it can get seriously addictive.
How the Game Actually Works
You start out weak with no Stand, and your first job is getting one. You use arrows to roll for Stands, and the rarity system goes from common all the way up to rare and godly tiers. Some Stands like Star Platinum or King Crimson are the ones everyone wants, and yeah, getting them from a roll feels great.
Once you have a Stand, you level it up by grinding enemies around the map. Higher level means more damage, more moves unlocked, and better chances in PvP fights. The combat is move-based, so each Stand has its own unique abilities you need to learn. Some Stands play totally differently from others, which keeps things interesting.
There are quests you can pick up to earn extra rewards, and the game has a prestige system for players who want to keep pushing past the normal level cap. PvP is a big part of the experience too. You can fight other players in the open world, so expect to get jumped by someone with a better Stand while you’re just trying to grind.
What’s Good and What’s Not
The Stand variety is genuinely one of the best parts. There are a lot of options, and finding a Stand that fits your playstyle makes the game feel personal. The animations on some of the rarer Stands look really clean too, and pulling a godly tier for the first time is a proper hype moment.
The grind is rough though. Leveling up takes a long time, and if you get unlucky with arrow rolls you can feel stuck for ages. The open-world PvP means stronger players can just farm you while you’re trying to level, which gets frustrating fast, especially if you’re new. The game also has some balancing issues where certain Stands feel way too strong compared to others.
The game has a solid player base but it’s not the most active JoJo game on Roblox right now. Updates have been inconsistent, and the community has been a bit mixed on where the game is heading. It’s still worth playing if you’re into the JoJo theme, but go in knowing it’s more of a casual grind experience than a perfectly polished game.
