Where Am I? is a free Roblox game where the map drops you somewhere in the world and you have to work out where. You look around the scene for clues, like road signs, plants and buildings, then place a pin on a world map. The closer your pin is to the real spot, the more points you get, and the best guess in the room wins the round.

How a Guessing Round Works
Each round starts by dropping you into a scene. It could be a quiet road, a market, a beach or a city street, pulled from a set of more than 600 real places.
You get a short time to look around. The clues are the things a real traveler notices. That means road signs, the local plants, the style of the houses, and which side of the road cars drive on.
When you think you know, you open the world map and drop a pin. You can move it until the timer ends.
The game then shows the real location and scores everyone on how close their pin was. The player with the closest guess wins the round, and a win is the only thing the game counts.
The Win Badges
There are five badges. One is for joining, and the other four count your total round wins: 10, 50, 100 and 1000. The numbers show how sharply the game thins out.

The counter that tracks joins has passed 6 million since it started in April 2025, a few months after the game came out. Against that, 104,086 players have 10 wins, which is about 1 in 58.
Then it falls off a cliff. Only 678 players have reached 50 wins, and just 74 have 100. The jump from 10 wins to 50 is where almost everyone stops.
The 1000 wins badge is switched on and sits at zero. Its whole description is the word “Why”. The developer built a target they did not expect anyone to hit, and so far nobody has.
How to Play Where Am I?
- Join and let the round load. You will spawn standing in a scene somewhere in the world.
- Look around before you touch the map. Check signs, plants, road markings and the sky.
- Open the world map and drop your pin on your best guess. Start with the right country, then narrow it down.
- Adjust the pin until the timer runs out. A rough guess in the right region beats a wild one.
- Watch the reveal. See how far off you were and what clue you missed.
- Keep playing rounds. Each one you win adds to the count the badges track.
Where Am I? Gameplay
The core game is round after round of the same loop: get dropped somewhere, read the clues, place a pin, see the answer. A room holds up to 50 players all guessing the same place.
There is a separate Survival mode alongside the main game. It keeps going until you slip up, so the pressure builds as the rounds stack.
The location set is large, more than 600 places, so you keep seeing new scenes for a long time. Some are easy landmarks and some are a blank stretch of road that could be almost anywhere.
The game has been in Alpha since it launched, but it still gets updates most weeks, usually new locations and fixes. It has passed 16 million visits while wearing that Alpha tag.
There is no money in the game. No coins, no shop, no hints to buy. Your score in a round and your total wins are the only numbers, and both are worked out on the server.
Tips for New Where Am I? Players
- Get the country right first. A pin in the correct country always beats a lucky guess in the wrong one.
- Check which side of the road cars drive on. That alone splits the world roughly in half.
- Read the signs. Even if you cannot read the language, the alphabet points you to a region.
- Look at the plants and the light. Palm trees, snow and dry scrub all tell you the rough latitude.
- Do not stare at one clue. Spin around and take in the whole scene before the timer gets low.
- Play Survival once you know the basics. Nothing sharpens your guessing like a run you do not want to end.
