Unequal is a Roblox PvP fighter where the whole point is that nobody is on equal footing. Some players get stronger stats, better gear, or more abilities than others right from the start. It sounds unfair on purpose, and that’s exactly the idea.
What You Actually Do in Unequal
You jump into matches where every player has a different setup. One person might have high damage and low health, another gets a ton of HP but hits like a wet noodle. The randomness keeps rounds feeling fresh because you can never fully predict what you or your opponents are working with.
Combat is fast. You’re moving, dodging, and trying to figure out your kit while also reading what everyone else has. It’s chaotic in a fun way, especially when you land a win with a setup that felt hopeless at the start.
The game is still in alpha, so expect things to change a lot. New mechanics and balance tweaks are getting added as the developers keep building it out. What you play today might feel pretty different in a few weeks.
The Good Stuff and the Frustrating Bits
The core concept is genuinely fun. Fighting with mismatched stats creates moments you don’t get in regular PvP games. When you outplay someone who had way better stats than you, it actually feels earned.
That said, alpha means bugs. Expect occasional janky hitboxes, UI that isn’t fully polished, and mechanics that feel half-finished. The player count is also still pretty small since the game is new, so finding full lobbies can take a minute depending on when you log on.
If you like getting in early on something with potential, Unequal is worth checking out. Just go in knowing it’s a work in progress, not a finished product. The developers are actively working on it, which is a good sign.
