Shovelware’s Brain Game

Last Updated: August 2026  |  Seventy two prizes, one shop item, and a badge rarer than finishing the entire game.

Shovelware’s Brain Game is a comedy game show that you play from a podium. Six players take questions from a cartoon banana while an audience of odd little characters watches from the stands. Every question is read out loud, and the winner walks away with one of 72 prizes.

It opened in November 2021 and has passed 58 million visits. This page has all eight badges, the strange one that is harder to get than collecting every prize in the game, the single item in its shop, and the real world company that helped build it.

How to Play Shovelware’s Brain Game

It is a quiz, so the rules are short. What takes getting used to is that this one is meant to be funny first and a test second.

  1. Join a taping. Six players fit in a room, and you can either take a podium or sit in the audience and watch.
  2. Listen to the question. Every one is read out loud, so sound on helps more here than in most games.
  3. Pick your answer from the choices on screen. There is one right answer and a clock running.
  4. Bank the coins. Correct answers pay, and coins are what the whole prize system runs on.
  5. Play the bonus rounds when they come up. There is a separate badge for winning one and most players get it.
  6. Spend your coins on prizes. There are 72 and each one is a thing you keep.
  7. Change your podium and buzzer once you can. Those are earned with coins, not bought.

Watching from the audience counts as being there. The badge for turning up says you attended a taping, and it does not care whether you ever took a podium.

Shovelware’s Brain Game Gameplay: The Badge That Beats Finishing the Game

Before the numbers, one thing worth knowing. All eight badges were switched on in February 2023, more than a year after the game opened.

That means they count from 2023, not from launch. The turn up badge sits at just over 19 million, and that is the fair number to compare the rest against.

Badge Players who have it What you have to do
Welcome to Shovelware’s Brain Game! 19,065,764 Turn up to a taping. This is the count everything else should be measured against.
Win a Bonus Prize! 8,138,716 Win one of the bonus rounds. Just under half of everyone manages it.
Grand Champion! 4,792,467 Win a whole round. That is about one in four of everyone who has walked in.
Hot Dog Fail 471,855 Win a very specific prize, a dancing hot dog holding a guitar.
The Announcer’s Secret 241,851 Solve a mystery the game will not explain to you.
Win 50 Prizes! 53,119 Collect fifty of them. Roughly one player in 359.
The Collector 15,701 Collect all seventy two. About one player in 1,214.
The King of Cantaloupe 11,773 Score over 50,000 points in a side game. The rarest one here.

Look at the bottom two rows, because that is the odd bit. Collecting every single one of the 72 prizes has been done 15,701 times.

Scoring over 50,000 points in a side game called the Barrel Game has been done 11,773 times. That is fewer.

So one high score in a bonus mode is rarer than finishing the entire main game. Most games do it the other way round, where the completion badge is the wall.

It probably comes down to how each one is earned. Prizes come in slowly across many visits, and anybody patient gets there. A single big score has to happen in one sitting.

The mystery badge is worth a mention too. All the game says is whether you can solve it, and 241,851 people have worked it out without being told what it is.

One Shop Item, and a Curious Date

There is exactly one thing to buy in this game. It costs 699 Robux and it doubles the coins you get for correct answers.

That is unusual at this size. A game with 58 million visits normally carries ten passes or more, and this one carries a single line.

Nothing else in here is sold. All 72 prizes, both podium styles and every buzzer sound come out of playing.

The dates are the interesting part. The game last shipped an update in June 2025, but that one shop item was touched again in August 2026.

So somebody at the studio is still checking in, more than a year after the questions stopped changing.

A Classroom Company Helped Make It

The game page names its partner outright. It says the game was developed in collaboration with SMART Technologies.

They are not a Roblox studio. They make the large touchscreen boards that sit at the front of classrooms, and they have been doing it for decades.

Once you know that, some of the design makes more sense. The question format, the voiced reading and the clean scoring all feel like they came from people who build quiz tools for a living.

There is a second thing worth knowing about who made this. The studio behind it belongs to a bigger group whose obby has more visits than this game does.

Two Places, Not One

Most people only ever see the studio. There is a second place attached to this game, an obby built around the announcer, and it has picked up over 400,000 visits on its own.

It lines up with the mystery badge, which is the one the game refuses to explain. If you are hunting that badge, the obby is the obvious place to start looking.

One more small thing. The page name has never changed once since it opened, which almost no game this size can say.

Tips for New Shovelware’s Brain Game Players

  1. Turn your sound on. The questions are read out loud and the jokes are in the reading, so playing muted costs you both.
  2. Sit in the audience for one round first. It counts as attending, and you get to see how the scoring works before it matters.
  3. Play the bonus rounds. Nearly half of everyone has that badge, so it is one of the easier things to tick off.
  4. Do not rush the prizes. All 72 come in slowly, and the badge for the full set is easier than it sounds if you keep coming back.
  5. Try the side game if you want the rare one. Fewer people have that high score than have finished the whole main game.
  6. Skip the shop unless you are grinding. The one pass only speeds up coins, and nothing here is locked behind it.

About the Studio

Shovelware Systems is a Roblox group with 283,087 members, and this is the only game it runs.

It sits under a larger group called Shovelware Studios with over 458,000 members. That parent runs two other games, and one of them, an obby, has slightly more visits than this one.

About 93 in every 100 votes here are likes. That is the highest score of any game we have written up, and it comes from over 180,000 votes rather than a small sample.

If you like games built around a room of other players, we cover a few: Visual Pianos, Rap Battles and Literally SPRUNKI.
