The Innovation Awards 2023 Voting Hub was Roblox’s own hub for its 2023 awards. You went in, voted for the nominees, took a photo, hunted for hidden things, and walked out with a free outfit if you did the lot. It ran for a few weeks in the summer of 2023 and then shut.
More than 72 million visits went through it. This page has what was inside, the free clothes and who got them, an odd fact about how few people used it for its actual purpose, and the name this place had before the awards took it over.

How to Play Innovation Awards 2023 Voting Hub
None of this can be done now, because the hub is shut. It is worth knowing what was in there, though, because Roblox runs one of these most years and they work the same way.
- You walked in and got a badge just for turning up. Everything else was optional.
- You looked through the nominated games and creators, laid out around the hub.
- You cast your votes. That was the whole point of the place, and it earned you a badge saying so.
- You went to the photobooth, dressed up, and took a picture.
- You hunted for a hidden item somewhere in the hub.
- You found three more hidden things, which was a separate task again.
- You finished the lot and unlocked the free clothes, which are still in the accounts of everyone who did.
Step three is the one this page is really about. It was the reason the hub existed, and it turned out to be the thing people were least likely to do.

Look at the gap between the second row and the sixth. Around 19 million people used the photobooth. About 2 million voted.
So the photobooth beat the ballot by nine to one, in a place built for voting.
There is a stranger one further down. Nearly 16 million people came back on a second day, which is more than seven times the number who ever cast a vote.
We are not going to guess at why. The numbers are first-party and they say people turned up for the outfit and the photos.
The Free Clothes, and Who Still Has Them
The outfit was the draw. A shirt, trousers, a jacket, a cap, headphones, trainers and a beanie with the word voted on the front.
All of them were real Roblox items, and finishing the tasks in the hub unlocked them. There was no code and nothing to buy.
Anyone who claimed them still owns them. Roblox items do not expire, so the event closing took nothing back.

It Used To Be Called Ancient Crete
This is the oddest thing about the hub and it is easy to check. Saved copies of the page go back to March 2023, and back then it was not an awards hub at all.
It was called Ancient Crete. That name was still on the page in the third week of July 2023.
Five days later the same page was the official voting hub, and it kept that name for the rest of its life.
So Roblox set up a place in March, left it under a different name for four months, and turned it into the awards hub right before the event. We are not going to guess at the reason, but the dates are plain enough.

The group behind this hub has twelve games and more than 1.3 billion visits between them. It has 75 members.
Its biggest is a hunt from 2024 that passed 276 million visits, and it also runs the seasonal events and the yearly shows.
There are three awards hubs in that list, one for each of 2023, 2024 and 2025. The 2024 one is the biggest of the three at over 96 million visits.
That matters if you want the free clothes. Another hub is likely next summer, and being there while it is open is the only way in.
Tips for New Innovation Awards 2023 Voting Hub Players
- Check your Roblox account before anything else. If you went in 2023, the clothes may already be yours.
- Do not chase this hub. It is closed, and nothing opens it again.
- Watch for the next awards hub instead. Roblox has run one three years running, always in the summer.
- Do the tasks early when one opens. The items unlock at the end of the list, not the start.
- Ignore any page offering these items now. Only Roblox can put an item in an account.
- Follow the same group’s other events, because the hunts and seasonal ones hand out items too.
