Pull a Sword is one of those simple Roblox games that somehow keeps you playing way longer than you planned. The concept is exactly what it sounds like. There’s a sword stuck in a stone, and your job is to pull it out. Sounds easy. It is not.
How Pull a Sword Actually Works
You spawn in and get straight to it. You walk up to the sword and start pulling, and the game tracks your strength stat to determine how far you can yank it each time. The more you pull, the stronger you get, and the stronger you get, the more progress you make. It’s a loop, and it works.
Between pulls you collect coins, which you spend on upgrades to boost your strength faster. There are also rebirth mechanics that reset your progress in exchange for permanent multipliers. It sounds annoying to reset, but those multipliers stack up and make the grind feel rewarding later on.
The game also throws in different swords and milestones as you progress. Hitting certain strength levels unlocks new content and keeps things feeling fresh instead of just watching one number go up forever. It’s a solid idle-style grinder with just enough going on to stay interesting.
What’s Fun, What’s Frustrating
The satisfying part is watching your strength climb and finally hitting a milestone you’ve been grinding toward. The rebirth system actually gives you a reason to keep coming back, which not every game in this genre gets right. It has that “one more pull” energy that’s hard to put down.
The frustrating part is the mid-game wall. Progress slows down a lot before your first few rebirths, and if you’re not watching ads or spending Robux, it can feel like you’re stuck. The pay-to-speed-up pressure is real, and it shows up earlier than it should.
The game is still getting updates and has a decent player count, so it’s not dying or abandoned. It’s not a massive hit either, but for a chill grinding game you play while doing something else, it does the job. Just don’t go in expecting deep gameplay.
