Last Updated: August 2026 | How the queue works, the 600 Robux shop, and the word this game has worn in its name since 2020.
Outfit Loader does one thing and it is not quite what the other dressing up games do. You do not browse a catalog here. You type in another player’s username, and the game loads everything that player wears onto a row of mannequins for the whole room to look at and try on.
It opened in May 2020 and has passed 235 million visits, which makes it one of the oldest games of its kind still running. This page has how the queue works, the very small shop, the badge that is four years younger than the game, and the studio behind it.

How to Play Outfit Loader
The room holds ten people and everybody is looking at the same wall. That is the part the game page does not explain.
- Walk in. There is nothing to unlock and no tutorial, and the room is small at ten players.
- Look at the screen on the wall. It shows whose outfits are loaded now, and a queue box next to it.
- Wait for it to say it is waiting for the next user. That is your turn.
- Press the Load User button and type in the username of the player whose style you want to see.
- Watch the mannequins fill up. Their outfits appear on a row of dummies along the plinth.
- Click an outfit to see the items in it, and click again to put the whole thing on yourself.
- Buy only the piece you actually want. That goes through Roblox and lands in your own inventory.
Step three is the one that catches people out. Only one person can load a username at a time, so there is a queue and you have to wait your turn.
It moves fast, though. The average trip through this game is about two and a quarter minutes, so nobody is holding the screen for long.
Outfit Loader Gameplay: The Queue Is the Whole Design
Most dressing up games give you your own menu. This one gives the room one screen and makes you share it.
That has two effects. It means you see other people’s choices even when you were not looking for them, and that is where most of the ideas come from.
It also means the game is only as good as whoever is at the front of the queue. Load a well dressed account and everybody in the room gets something out of it.
Nothing is hidden behind money. Wearing costs nothing, looking costs nothing, and the only thing you can pay for is owning an item afterwards.

January 2021, no description ever |
Three things on sale, 600 Robux for all of them, and one switched off. For a game with 235 million visits that is a remarkably small shop.
The dates matter more than the prices. Everything here went on sale between May 2020 and February 2021, and nothing has been added in the five and a half years since.
The retired one is worth a mention because its name is two letters and it has never carried a description, so there is no way to tell what it was.
The Badge Is Four Years Younger Than the Game
There is one badge here, called You visited Outfit Loader, and 6,179,738 players have it. About 5,509 of those arrived yesterday.
Here is the catch. The badge was made in April 2024, and the game opened in May 2020.
So that six million is not everyone who has ever played. It is everyone who has walked in since April 2024, and the first four years of players are not counted anywhere.
It is worth knowing because it is easy to divide that number into 235 million visits and get a wrong answer. The two do not cover the same period.
It Has Been Calling Itself New Since 2020
The game shows up in Roblox as NEW Outfit Loader, with the word new in brackets on the front.
Saved copies of the page show it was plain Outfit Loader when it opened in May 2020. The tag appeared in October 2020.
It has been there ever since, on every saved copy right through to this month. That is five years and ten months of being new.
There is a second place attached to the game too, a small development one named after a date in September 2024. It has nine visits.

Seven games and more than 900 million visits between them, all built around the same idea of trying on clothes you do not own yet.
The odd one is third on that list. A place with the words testing place in its name has 157 million visits, which would make it a large game anywhere else.
We have a page for that one as well: the Outfit Loader Testing Place wiki. It is often quieter than this one.
Tips for New Outfit Loader Players
- Have a username ready before your turn comes up. The queue moves faster than you expect.
- Load accounts known for their style rather than your friends. You get far more out of a well dressed wardrobe.
- Try things on before you even think about buying. Wearing is free no matter what the item costs.
- Watch what other people load. Half the point of the shared screen is seeing ideas you would not have searched for.
- Check the game page before buying a private server, because what it advertises and what Roblox reports do not currently match.
- Try the testing place if this room is busy. It is the same studio and it has 157 million visits of its own.
Outfit Loader FAQ
How do I load somebody’s outfits?
Press the Load User button on the screen and type their username. You may have to wait for the person ahead of you first, because only one username loads at a time.
Do I keep what I try on?
Only if you buy it. Trying on is free and temporary, and buying goes through Roblox so the item stays in your account afterwards.
Are there any codes?
No, and there never have been in over six years. Our Outfit Loader codes page explains why the game cannot really have any.
Is there a script for it?
No. Two things claim to be one and neither of them loads any more. Our Outfit Loader script page opens both.
Why does the name say NEW?
It has said that since October 2020. The game opened in May of that year without it, and the tag has stayed on ever since.
Are private servers really 10 Robux?
That is what the game page says. Roblox now reports that new ones cannot be made for this game, so check before you spend.
What is the testing place?
A second game by the same studio with the words testing place in its name. It has 157 million visits, so plenty of people treat it as the real thing.
How many people play it now?
A few dozen at a time. The busiest moment ever recorded was 4,589 players at once, back in August 2023.
About the Studio
coded clothing is a verified Roblox group and one of the biggest names in this corner of Roblox. Its seven games have drawn more than 900 million visits between them.
This game is the second biggest of them, behind the mall. It is also the oldest, having opened in May 2020.
We cover several of the others: Coded Clothing Mall, Outfit Loader Testing Place and Emote Catalog.
