Last Updated: September 2026 | How the rounds work, where your outfits go afterwards, and the one shop item nobody can buy.
Catalog Avatar Runway is a fashion game on Roblox. Everyone in the room votes on a theme, then you build an outfit to match it and walk a runway while the others rate what you made. The best looks take the podium.
It opened on 25 May 2026 and 7,165,440 people have played it since. Two things set it apart from most dress-up games. The clothes are real Roblox items rather than game ones, and the outfits you build get shipped to a second game the same studio runs.

How to Play Catalog Avatar Runway
A round is six steps and the whole room moves through them together.
- Vote on the theme. Everybody gets one vote, and the winning theme is the brief for the round.
- Go shopping. You pick from the Roblox catalog, so the choice is enormous and nothing is locked behind a grind.
- Build your look. Emotes count as part of it, not just the clothes.
- Walk the runway when your turn comes. This is the bit everybody else is watching.
- Rate the other outfits. Your score comes from the room, so the room’s scores come from you too.
- Check the podium. The top looks place, and wins stack up on the leaderboard.
Servers hold 15, so a round is a small room rather than a crowd. That makes each vote worth more than it would be in a big lobby.
Catalog Avatar Runway Gameplay
There is no currency in this game. The description says it plainly, in four words. No requirements, no grinding.
That is unusual for a game this size and it changes what skill means here. Nobody has a better wardrobe because they played longer. They have a better eye.
The clothes come from the Roblox catalog, so anything you buy goes into your Roblox inventory and works in every other game you play. That is where the studio earns its money.
There are two rooms rather than one.
| Room |
What it is for |
| Catalog Avatar Runway |
The main game, where the themed rounds run |
| Pro Avatar Runway |
A second room, open to everybody |
The last piece is what happens after a round. Outfits you build here are sent to a second game the same studio runs, so a look you spent a round on can be viewed again later.

The Studio Explains Its Own Queue, and the Numbers Agree
The game page carries a warning about the outfit transfers. It says imports can take a while, and gives a reason rather than an apology.
The reason is that this game is far busier than the one receiving the outfits, so a queue builds up. That is a checkable claim.

What it tells you |
| People who have ever played |
7,165,440 |
Counted by a badge made the day after launch |
| Total visits |
19,210,759 |
So the average player comes back about 2.7 times |
| Arrived in the last day |
367,926 |
About 5 in every 100 who have ever played |
| Playing right now |
Around 10,200 |
Against about 420 in the game this one feeds |
Counted at the same moment, this game had about 10,200 people in it and the game it feeds had about 420. That is roughly 24 times as many, which is what a large backlog looks like.
The second row is the one worth keeping. 19.2 million visits against 7.2 million people means the average player has come back about 2.7 times.
That number is only trustworthy because of when the badge was made. It was created the day after the game opened, so it has counted almost everybody from the start.
Why the badge date matters
A joining badge only counts from the day it was made. If it is much younger than the game, it misses everybody who came before, and any share worked out from it is wrong. Here the gap is one day, so the count is safe to use.

4 September |
A priority import queue, a double vote on every theme, and a nameplate |
There is exactly one, it was built on 4 September, and it has never been switched on. You cannot buy it today.
Read its description anyway, because it gives away two rules the game never states. The first is that a priority import queue is worth selling, which means the backlog is real.
The second is the interesting one. It offers a double vote on every theme. Read that backwards and it tells you everyone currently gets exactly one.
An unreleased shop item is often the most honest writing in a game. It has to say what it does or nobody would buy it, and nothing else has that obligation.
This Game Sells Nothing of Its Own
| What you can spend on |
Where the money goes |
What you keep |
| Catalog clothes |
Bought through Roblox itself |
They stay in your Roblox inventory |
| Anything inside the game |
There is nothing on sale |
Not one item |
Most games this size run a shop full of passes. This one runs none, and the single pass it has built is not for sale.
The money instead comes from the Roblox catalog. You buy clothes through Roblox, and those clothes are yours everywhere, not just in here.
For you that is a good deal. Anything you pay for leaves the game with you, which is not true of a pass in almost any other game.
It also means nobody in your round bought an advantage. There is not one on sale.
Tips for New Catalog Avatar Runway Players
- Use your theme vote every round. Everybody gets one, and the brief you get stuck with is the one the room picked.
- Match the theme first. The room is rating how well your look fits the brief, not how much it cost.
- Remember emotes are part of the look. How you present the outfit on the runway counts too.
- Rate other people properly. Everyone’s score comes from the room, so a round where nobody votes is a round nobody wins.
- Do not wait for your outfit to appear in the other game. The studio says the queue is long, and it is long because this game is about 24 times busier.
- Anything you buy is a real Roblox item, so it follows you out of this game. Spend on things you would wear anywhere.
Catalog Avatar Runway FAQ
Is Catalog Avatar Runway free to play?
Yes, and more than most. Nothing inside the game is sold for Robux at all. The only money you can spend goes to the Roblox catalog for clothes you keep.
Does Catalog Avatar Runway have codes?
No. There are no codes and nowhere to enter one. A working code list does exist for a much bigger game with a very similar name, which is where the confusion comes from.
How many people have played it?
7,165,440, counted by a badge made the day after the game opened. Against 19.2 million visits, that is about 2.7 visits per person.
Where do my outfits go?
To a second game run by the same studio. The transfer takes a while, because this game has roughly 24 times as many players as the one receiving them.
Do I keep the clothes I buy?
Yes. They are Roblox catalog items, so they go into your Roblox inventory and work in every other game, not only this one.
What is Runway VIP?
A pass built on 4 September that has never been put on sale. It would give a priority import queue, a double vote on themes and a nameplate.
Every number on this page came from the game’s own Roblox pages in September 2026 and can change when the studio updates the game. The player counts move quickly, so treat them as a snapshot rather than a fixed figure.
