How to Play Bee Swarm Simulator
- Hatch your first bees. You start with the Basic Bee, then buy eggs with honey to grow the swarm.
- Collect pollen in the flower fields. Your bees follow you and gather alongside you.
- Convert pollen to honey at your hive. Honey buys eggs, tools, and field upgrades.
- Do the bear quests. Black Bear, Brown Bear, and friends pay big honey for simple field jobs.
- Push up the mountain. Stronger hives unlock higher fields with better pollen and tougher monsters.
- Level your bees. Treats raise bond, and higher-level bees carry more and hit harder.
Bee Swarm Simulator Gameplay: Pollen, Honey and Fields
Everything runs on one loop: pollen becomes honey, and honey becomes power. Each flower field has its own pollen colour and its own regulars, from the safe Sunflower and Dandelion fields at the bottom to the Pepper and Mountain Top fields high up. Matching your bees to a field colour is the first real strategy choice, since blue bees fill faster in blue fields and red bees in red ones.
The fields are not empty. Ladybugs, rhino beetles, spiders, and scorpions guard the good spots, a werewolf prowls the upper mountain, and bosses like King Beetle and Tunnel Bear drop rare loot for hives strong enough to beat them. Fighting monsters earns tokens and treats, so a battle-ready hive earns honey even when it is not farming.
New bees come from eggs, and the egg you buy decides your odds:
| Egg |
What It Gives |
| Basic Egg |
Cheap and common. Any rarity is possible, and each hatch has a tiny gifted chance |
| Silver and Gold Eggs |
Better odds of Rare and Epic bees |
| Diamond Egg |
Guarantees at least a Legendary bee |
| Mythic Egg |
The chase egg, with a shot at the six Mythic bees |
| Star Egg |
Always hatches a gifted bee |
Bees, Gifted Bees and Hive Building
There are currently 46 bee types across Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, and Event rarities, and your hive grows from 25 slots up to 50 through the Mountain Top Shop. Royal jelly rerolls a bee you do not want into a random new one, and every bee can also become a gifted bee, a boosted version with a unique bonus for your whole hive.
Most players build toward a blue, red, or white hive so their bees boost each other. For the full roster listed by rarity, plus every guaranteed and lucky way to get a gifted bee, read our Bee Swarm Simulator bees list guide.
Tips for New Bee Swarm Simulator Players
- Pick a hive colour plan early. Blue, red, and white builds all work, and matching bees boost each other.
- Do every bear quest you can. The quest chains are the best honey income a young hive has.
- Feed treats every day. Bond adds up fast, and higher-level bees make every field trip pay more.
- Be careful with royal jelly. It rerolls a bee into something random, so never use it on a bee you like.
- Save Star Treats for the one bee your build really needs. A gifted core bee changes your whole hive.
- Play during events. Event bees and special quests only show up while an event is running.
