PETAPETA Codes

Last Checked: July 2026  |  No reward codes  |  Checked this week

PETAPETA puts you in an old Japanese hotel that will not let you leave. You hunt for a key, crack a safe, then pin a paper charm to the wall to push the ghost back one floor. A pale woman crawls after you the whole time on her hands. Search for PETAPETA codes and you get a wall of confusing pages.

Here is the straight answer, and it comes in two halves. There are no free reward codes in this game and no box to type one into. But there are codes in here, the ones that open the safes, and they are different every single run. Below is where each level hides its code, plus the free things you can pick up today.

PETAPETA Codes

Active PETAPETA Codes (July 2026)

There are no free reward codes in PETAPETA.

We went through fifteen code pages this week. Not one of them has ever written this game up, which is rare for a game this big.

The players who write the game’s own wiki have not made a codes page either, and they were editing it yesterday. When the people who play it most say there is nothing, that is your answer.

The Code You Are Actually Looking For

Most people who search this are not after a free reward at all. They are stuck at a safe, and they want the number that opens it. That number is real, and here is the bit that catches everyone out.

The game makes a new one every run. Your code is yours. Your friend standing next to you can be looking at a different one, so copying a number off a video will never work.

Level 1NO SAFE CODE

The key is just hidden. Check behind the closets and under the tables. The key room and the box room are the same every time, and both have an eye banner by the doors.

Level 2SAFE CODE

A paper on a wall in one of the rooms. Walk up to it and the code shows on the left of your screen, so you do not have to remember it.

Level 3SAFE CODE

Through the hole in the wrecked room. Look in, look away when the Evil turns up, then look back. The code is written on the hanging piece.

Level 4NO SAFE CODE

A doll order instead of a number. Five dolls go on the table in the order shown on the sheet by the doors, going clockwise.

Level 5SAFE CODE

A number for the shelf with the dials, on top of the whole burning ritual. Players say the screens dotted around the rooms are where the digits show up.

Level 6NO SAFE CODE

No safe at all. Four shapes hidden in the cubbies, then the eye scrolls pointing the way, then the candles.

So there is no list to hand you, and any page that shows you “the PETAPETA safe code” is guessing. What helps instead is knowing which room to walk into.

One tip that saves a lot of running. Once a code shows on the left of your screen it stays there, so read it off the corner instead of trying to hold it in your head. Read the symbols left to right in the order they appear.

Why This Game Has No Reward Codes

Most pages stop at no codes yet and leave you hanging. This one has a proper answer, and once you hear it you will stop waiting for a code box to turn up.

There is no redeem box in the game

Load a round and look around your screen. There is a shop, a bag and a set of buttons for hiding. There is nowhere to paste a code, and no redeem step tucked away in a menu.

Zeni is a score, not a wallet

This is the real reason. You pick Zeni up during a run and spend it in the shop when the run ends. It is tied to how you played, so a code has nothing to pay into. The lasting boosts are all bought with Robux instead.

Three years and never one

The game opened in August 2023 and it still gets updates most months. Three years is plenty of time to add a code box, so this looks like a choice rather than something forgotten.

Events do the job codes normally do

When this team wants to hand you something they run an event. You play it, you get a badge, and sometimes a new item turns up in the shop. That is their version of a code drop.

So the team has not forgotten you. They hand things out through events instead, and the badges show it still happens.

What You Get in PETAPETA Without Paying

Good news here. No reward codes does not mean no free rewards. There are 87 badges sitting in this game, and one of them has never been earned by anybody.

A badge just for walking in

The Newcomer badge lands on you the first time you play. More than 81,000 people picked it up yesterday alone, which tells you how busy the hotel still is.

The friend badges are the newest thing in here

A chain of four went in this summer. Finding a friend gets you the first one, and over 2,000 players earned it yesterday. Doing it ten times gets the second, fifty times the third, and a hundred times the fourth. Only 32 people have all four.

Seven disasters, and almost nobody has beaten them all

Each disaster badge is for surviving one nasty twist, like the blackout or the silence. There are seven. Exactly 35 players in the world hold the badge for clearing every one.

Losing gets you a badge too

Lose 99 times and you become PETAPETA’s Snack. About 67,000 players have that one, so you are in good company.

One badge nobody has ever earned

There is a badge in here for selling 500,000 tokens. It has been sitting in the game since January 2025 and it is still switched on. It has gone out to zero players. Not one, ever.

Everything you need to finish is free

Worth remembering while you hunt for freebies. The keys, the charms, the dolls and the hiding spots cost nothing. The shop only sells speed, light and stamina.

One thing to be straight about. The Sound Is Gone week, where PETAPETA crawled after you without a single footstep, ran from the 10th to the 17th of July and has finished. The event running now is the mission one that started on the 17th.

How To Redeem Codes in PETAPETA

There is nothing to redeem today, because the game has no code box in it. If one ever shows up it will work the way it does in every other Roblox game. Here is what to look for.

  1. Open PETAPETA and wait until you are standing in the lobby.
  2. Look along the side of the screen for a Codes button near the shop.
  3. Type the code in exactly as it is written.
  4. Press Redeem to claim it.

Roblox codes are nearly always case-sensitive, which just means capital letters matter. So if PETAPETA codes ever do turn up, copy them from this page instead of typing them out. We will swap these steps for real ones the day a real code lands.

When Do New PETAPETA Codes Drop?

They do not, and nothing points to that changing. The game has run since 2023 without one and it is still being updated, so this is clearly how the team likes it.

What does drop here is new floors and new events. Levels 7 and up arrived this year, a fresh charm went into the shop in July, and the friend badges are only weeks old. If a code box ever appears it will show up in the game description first, so check back after a big update.

About PETAPETA

PETAPETA opened in August 2023 and has now passed 600 million visits. Around 900,000 players have it saved as a favourite, and it sits at number 297 on the list of most played Roblox games. It is made by the Omochi Studio team, whose group has over 400,000 members.

Servers hold up to 50 people, though most rounds are a small group creeping down the same corridor. Five out of six votes on the game page are likes, which is a strong score for a horror game. The team also runs two more PETAPETA games, a school one and a mine one.

Seventeen passes are on sale, from 149 Robux for a bookmark up to 1,499 for unlimited revives. None of them are needed to finish a level, and none of them can be unlocked with a code.
