Last Verified: September 2026 | No codes. There is a free hat, but you claim it in the game with no code needed.
If you came looking for a working CurioCity code, there are none. The game has no code box, and The Franklin Institute, the museum that made it, has never run one.
People search for codes here because the game gives out a free hat and a code feels like the way to get it. It is not. The hat unlocks on its own. This page explains both.
Active CurioCity Codes
There are no codes. None active, none expired, and no menu in the game to type one into.
CurioCity has no coins, no gems and no shop beyond one game pass. A code would have nothing to hand you.
Codes are case-sensitive in the games that use them, so people blame a failed code on a typo. Here nothing works because there is no box.
If that ever changes we will add it here. The escape rooms, Benji and the Morphs are covered on our wiki.
The Free Bolt Cap Needs No Code
CurioCity gives out a free hat called the Bolt Cap. It is a black cap with a yellow lightning bolt, a nod to Benjamin Franklin.
The game unlocked it when it reached a community likes goal. That goal was met a long time ago, so the hat is unlocked for everyone right now.
To get it, play the game and claim it from the hub. It then goes to your Roblox avatar to wear anywhere. No code is part of that.
Any page telling you to enter a code for the Bolt Cap is wrong. There is no code step.
Our CurioCity wiki covers the two escape rooms, the badges and the Bolt Cap.

How to Redeem CurioCity Codes
There is nothing to redeem and no box to redeem it in. Any guide showing you where to click made that screen up.
If a code system ever appears, here is where Roblox games usually put the box.
1Open the settings or menu panel. On most games the button sits in a corner of the screen.
2Scroll to the bottom of that panel and look for a Codes tab.
3Paste the code rather than typing it, because codes are case-sensitive.
4Press redeem and watch for a message on screen.
5If there is no box in the menu, the game has no codes. That is where this one stands.
When Do New CurioCity Codes Come Out
No honest guess is possible here, because there has never been a first one.
Games add codes when they have a reward worth handing out. This game hands out its free hat through a likes goal, and its badges through playing, so there is no gap for a code.
The last update was in 2024. A new code system is not something to expect.
Until that changes, ignore any list you find. Save this page and come back rather than searching again.
What Is Free in This Game Instead
Both escape rooms
The Human Body room and the Space room are both free. No pass gates either one.
The Bolt Cap hat
A free UGC hat for your avatar, unlocked by the community and claimed in the game with no code.
Benji and the Scavenger Hunt
The robot guide, all his themes and the repeatable timed hunt cost nothing.
Real museum science
The Franklin Institute built the puzzles and the facts. It is a free lesson from an actual museum.
