Ride A Pet is a free Roblox pet game about eggs. You find eggs around a big map, carry them home to your ranch, and hatch them. Every pet you hatch can be ridden, and faster pets reach the rarer eggs that sit farther away.
It came out on April 14, 2026 and passed 182 million visits in under six months. Each server holds just 6 players, and it runs on computers, consoles, phones and tablets.

How to Play Ride A Pet
- Spawn at your ranch and hop on your first pet. Riding is always faster than walking.
- Head out and look for eggs around the map. Radars from the shop help you track them down.
- Carry the eggs back to your ranch and hatch them there.
- Ride your fastest new pet out to find rarer eggs, which hatch into better pets.
- Feed your pets to help them age up. Older pets move faster and earn more cash.
- Mutate your pets to make them faster, then rebirth when you are ready for the next round.
Ride A Pet Gameplay and Strategy
Every egg has a luck value and a rarity, and the far-off eggs are the ones worth chasing. Your pets are your cars. A faster pet gets you to a rare egg sooner, and the rare egg gives you an even faster pet.
Pets at your ranch earn cash every second, even while you are offline. That cash buys food from Tim’s Food Shop, which restocks every 2 minutes and 45 seconds. Food gives a pet EXP, and EXP makes it older, faster and better at earning.
Rebirths reset your run for a stronger start, and the game keeps adding new rebirth levels. Three new ones showed up in the shop on September 21. You can also raise your luck, which helps each egg hatch into something better.

There are five foods, all bought with in-game cash. Grass gives by far the most EXP for your money. The Magic Apple is the worst deal. Three Meat cost $90,000 and give the same 300,000 EXP as one Magic Apple at $7,000,000.

Ride A Pet Shop Items You Can and Cannot Buy
The game launched four passes on August 9. On September 15, three of them left the store page. Infinite Radar is still a pass at 399 Robux. Auto Collect (699 Robux) and Infinite Backpack (499 Robux) can now only be bought inside the game. Instant Hatch is gone from both places.
Two more things are worth knowing before you spend Robux. The $1 Billion cash pack costs 999 Robux, only about twice the 499 Robux $1 Million pack, for a thousand times the cash. And a pack of three Meat costs 247 Robux, while three single Meat cost 237.
Tips for New Ride A Pet Players
- Feed with Grass when you can. It gives about 50 EXP for every $1, while the Magic Apple gives less than 1.
- Only feed pets you plan to keep. Food spent on a pet you replace next hatch is wasted.
- Never buy the $1 Million pack. The $1 Billion pack is only about twice the Robux.
- Skip the three-packs in the Robux shop. They never save anything, and three Meat cost more as a pack.
- Check the food shop again in under three minutes. It restocks every 2 minutes and 45 seconds.

Can you still buy Instant Hatch in Ride A Pet?
No. It left the store page on September 15, and the in-game version was off sale by September 20.
How many players fit in a Ride A Pet server?
Six. With about 250,000 people playing at once, that means more than 41,000 servers running at the same time.
Does Ride A Pet have badges?
Not yet. The game has no badges to earn right now.
