Halos are the rarest things you can wear in Royale High. Most players who wish at the fountain never win one. So which halos are really rare, and how many people actually own each one?
This page lists every halo in the game with the real number of players who won it. It also shows the rarest halos, how the fountain works, and whether halos are getting harder to win. Everything was checked on September 26, 2026.
Quick answer. There are 50 halos: 45 from the fountain and 5 you get other ways. The rarest finished halo is the Halloween Halo 2019, won by only 872 players. The most won is the Spring Halo 2020 (20,770). The newest is the Haunted Hollow Eveningfall Halo 2026, out since September 18, 2026.
How many halos are in Royale High?
50 in total. 45 are won by wishing at the fountain. The other 5 come from events, old game passes or a developer. Every fountain halo also gives you a badge when you win it, which is how we know how many players have each one.

The Haunted Hollow Eveningfall Halo 2026 is still running, so its 555 winners will keep going up. Since July 2026, halos can also be won at the Dream Fountain Music Box, which gives a different badge. 1,079 players have won a halo there, so the two newest halos may have a few more owners than shown.

Notice how many are new. 5 of the 10 rarest came out in 2024 or 2025. So old does not always mean rare. The Winter Crystal Halo 2018 has 19,277 winners, the third most of any halo, and the Mermaid Halo 2021 has 15,243. Some rarest-halo lists still put both near the top.
The most won halos are the Spring Halo 2020 (20,770), the Spring Halo 2022 (20,373) and the Winter Crystal Halo 2018 (19,277).
Are halos getting harder to win?
Fewer people win halos now, but fewer people play too. Royale High gives a badge to everyone who plays its Halloween event, so we can compare each Halloween halo with that year’s players.

In 2018 to 2021, about 1 in 1,400 Halloween players won that year’s halo. In 2024 and 2025 it was about 1 in 200 to 250. So a much bigger share of players won. This compares winners with players who got the Halloween badge. It is not the fountain’s exact odds.
How many players own more than one halo?
The game gives special badges for winning several different halos from the fountain. These badges were added in June 2023.

Only 6 players have won 10 different halos. There is also a badge for winning the same halo twice, and 1,329 players have it.
How the fountain works
- Go to the fountain at the Castle Entrance on campus.
- Make a wish. You can wish once every two hours.
- Read the short story, then pick answer A, B, C or D.
- The story ends with your reward. You might win diamonds, lose diamonds, get XP, get nothing, or very rarely win the halo.
Each answer has its own set of possible rewards. That is why players share halo answers. Answers shared for an old halo may not work for a new one, so check that they match the halo you are wishing for.
There are a few rare ways to get a fountain halo without the fountain. A halo can sometimes show up in the Mermaid Treasure Shop once you have the Fins Forever badge. Halos have also been given out for 600,000 Puppy Points on a developer’s streams.
