Last Updated: September 19, 2026 | Only a few weeks old, and the Keys shop already tells a real pricing story.
MM2 of The Locust is a survival horror game where one player becomes the Locust and hunts everyone else in the server. Everyone who isn’t the Locust is a survivor trying to escape while picking up Keys, the currency that buys Revives and other unlocks. It opened in the last two months and has already passed 34.7 million visits, which is a fast climb for a game this young.
What makes it worth a closer look is the Keys shop. It changed its own prices within weeks of launch, and Roblox’s own sales data shows exactly what changed.

- Join a match. Up to thirty players load in together.
- One player is picked as the Locust. Everyone else is a survivor.
- As a survivor, explore, avoid the Locust and pick up Keys along the way.

- The round ends when the survivors escape or the Locust catches everyone.
- Spend the Keys you collect on Revives and the shop’s other unlocks between matches.
MM2 of The Locust Gameplay
The whole shop runs on Keys, and the pricing on them changed a few weeks after launch. The first set of packs sold 100 Keys for 29 Robux, with the price per Key falling as the pack got bigger.
| Pack |
Price |
Rate |
| 100 Keys |
29 Robux |
0.29 Robux per Key |
| 200 Keys |
49 Robux |

| 400 Keys |
90 Robux |
0.225 Robux per Key |
| 500 Keys |
120 Robux |
0.24 Robux per Key |
Nine days later a second set of packs appeared, and this one runs all the way up to 5,000 Keys. The catch is that the smallest pack in this new set costs more per Key than the old one did, even though the biggest pack beats every rate on the old list.
| Pack |

| 100 Keys |
39 Robux |
0.39 Robux per Key |

0.2396 Robux per Key |
| 5,000 Keys |
999 Robux |
0.1998 Robux per Key |
Put the two lists side by side and the shape is clear. Buying small got more expensive and buying big got cheaper, in the same shop, nine days apart.

Dying costs you the match unless you spend Keys on a Revive, and Revives have their own bulk pricing. A single one is 39 Robux, but buying five hundred at once brings that down to about 14 Robux each.

Two of the shop’s priciest single items, one of them close to a thousand Robux above the other, are also sold together as one bundle for less than buying both apart. There is also a 99 Robux unlock that guarantees you the Locust role instead of leaving it to chance, which matters directly for how the “1 vs All” side of the game plays out.
Tips for New MM2 of The Locust Players
- Grab the one working code before you play It hands over 100 Keys the moment you type it in, and that is the same amount the shop currently charges 39 Robux for.
- Compare Key pack prices before you buy The shop has sold 100 Keys at two different prices a few weeks apart. Check the current per-Key price on each pack in the shop before picking one, since a larger pack does not always give you a better rate.
- Buy Revives in bulk, never one at a time A single Revive is 39 Robux. The 500-pack works out to about 14 Robux each, well under half the price of buying them one by one.
- Only pay to be the Locust once you know you enjoy hunting It is a 99 Robux unlock that guarantees you the hunter role. Try the role for free first, since matches assign it randomly.
- Check the bundle before buying two expensive items separately Two of the priciest one-off items are sold together for less than buying each on its own. Always check for a bundle before paying full price twice.
- Do not expect a badge ladder yet This game has no badges tracked on Roblox at all so far. There is nothing to chase there, so put your Keys toward Revives and unlocks instead.
MM2 of The Locust FAQ
Is MM2 of The Locust free to play?
Yes. Anyone can join and play a full match for free. The shop sells Keys, Revives and a few one-off items, but none of it is required to play.
How many working MM2 of The Locust codes are there?
One right now, worth 100 Keys. The game only opened a few weeks ago, so its code history is still short.
What are Keys used for?
Keys are the game’s currency. You earn them by playing, and you spend them on Revives and other unlocks in the shop.
Does MM2 of The Locust have badges?
No, not yet. Roblox shows zero badges tracked for this game so far.
Is this the same game as The Locust’s Manor?
No. It is a separate game from a different studio. Both credit the same original character creator, which is why the names look alike, but they are not the same game and not made by the same team.
Why did the Keys prices change?
The shop added a new set of Key packs a few weeks after launch. The smallest pack actually costs more now than it used to, while the biggest pack is a better deal than anything sold before it.
How many players are in a match?
Up to 30. One becomes the Locust and hunts the rest, and everyone else tries to survive and collect Keys.
