Dungeon Quest Reborn

Last Updated: September 2026  |  The rebuild has about 33,000 players right now. The original has about 400.

Dungeon Quest Reborn is a Roblox dungeon game and an officially licensed rebuild of the original Dungeon Quest, which its own page states outright. You pick a dungeon and a difficulty, then clear it with up to three other people. The boss is what drops the good gear. Your level and your loot carry between runs, and the harder settings are where the best drops live.

It opened in March 2026 and has passed 65 million visits. This page puts the numbers next to the original’s and lists the dungeons and difficulties the two games share. It also has an honest note about the shop that never opened.

The Rebuild Has Taken the Whole Audience

This is the number that matters if you are deciding which one to load.

The original has been running for nearly eight years and has passed two and a third billion visits. That is one of the biggest totals on the platform.

It now has about four hundred people in it. The rebuild, under six months old, has about thirty three thousand. That is roughly 80 players here for every one there.

The rebuild also rates higher, at 94 percent against 91. So if you are going back to Dungeon Quest because you remember it, this is where the people went.

Our Dungeon Quest page covers the original if that is the one you meant.

It Is Built on the Original’s Bones

The store page says this rebuild is officially licensed, so you know it is sanctioned. The way the game is put together tells you how close it is.

A Roblox game can be split across several places. The original uses three: a lobby, one place where the dungeons run, and a second lobby for higher levels.

This game uses the same three, with nearly the same names. Not a loosely similar layout. The same one.

It goes further than that. A freely readable script written for this game also lists the original’s lobby and sends both of them the same instructions. That only works if both answer to the same commands.

What that means in practice is that if you played the original, you already know how this one works. The parts have been rebuilt rather than reimagined.

Dungeon Quest Reborn

Dungeons and Difficulties

Eleven dungeons here carry the same names as dungeons in the original. Every one of them can be run on five difficulty settings: Easy, Medium, Hard, Insane and Nightmare. A separate hardcore switch sits on top of those.

Dungeon Also in the original
Desert Temple Yes
Winter Outpost Yes
King’s Castle Yes
Pirate Island Yes
Steampunk Sewers Yes
Samurai Palace Yes
The Canals Yes
Volcanic Chambers Yes
Orbital Outpost Yes
The Underworld Yes
Ghastly Harbor Yes

The current update is Northern Lands, which the game puts in its own title. In the original that was the fourteenth dungeon and it arrived in December 2021, more than three years after that game opened.

This one has got there in under six months. Whatever else the rebuild is doing, it is working through the back catalogue quickly.

One warning. The level and health numbers you will find written up for these dungeons describe the original game, not this one. Treat them as a rough shape and nothing more.

Alongside the dungeons there are boss raids, which come in tiers, and a wave defence mode. A daily reward drops for turning up.

The Shop That Never Opened

Seven items are attached to this game and not one of them is on sale. None has a price. You cannot spend anything here even if you want to.

Their names are the giveaway. Five are the same word with the numbers one to five after it, one is called daily refresh, and one is two letters long.

Those read like notes to self from building the game rather than things anybody meant to sell. They were made in April and June and have sat switched off since.

For you that is straightforwardly good news. Everything in this game comes out of a dungeon, and nobody has anything you cannot earn.

There Are No Badges Either

Most games this size hand out badges, and badges are how anyone can tell what share of players ever finished anything.

This game has none at all. So there is no public record of how many people have cleared Nightmare or reached the level cap.

Anybody quoting you a completion percentage for this game made it up, because the number does not exist anywhere.

How to Play Dungeon Quest Reborn

  1. Start in the lobby. Everything is chosen from there before you go anywhere.
  2. Pick a dungeon and a difficulty. Easy is the bottom rung and Nightmare is the top.
  3. Take people with you. A dungeon is built for a party, and the game will match you with others.
  4. Clear the rooms, then the boss. The boss is what drops the gear worth having.
  5. Sell what you do not need and equip what beats your current kit.
  6. Move up a difficulty as soon as you can survive it, because that is where better drops come from.
  7. Try a boss raid or the wave mode when the normal dungeons get repetitive.

Dungeon Quest Reborn Gameplay

The loop is the same one the original ran for eight years. Pick a dungeon, clear it, take the loot, go again on something harder.

Your character keeps its level and its gear between runs, so nothing is ever wasted. What changes is which dungeon you can survive.

Difficulty is the whole economy. The same dungeon on a harder setting drops better things, so moving up is worth more than repeating something safe.

Parties matter. Four people spread the damage and finish faster, and the game is balanced around that rather than around soloing.

Boss raids sit apart from the normal run and come in tiers. Wave defence is a third thing again, and the daily reward is free on top.

Tips for New Dungeon Quest Reborn Players

  • Do not solo past the early dungeons. The game expects a party and the drops are the same either way.
  • Move up a difficulty the moment you can survive it. Repeating an easy run is the slowest way to gear up.
  • Ignore the level numbers written up for the original game’s dungeons. They describe a different game.
  • Do not go looking for codes. Neither this game nor the original has ever had one.
  • Do not go looking for a shop either. All seven items are switched off, so there is nothing to buy.
  • Check the higher-level lobby once you qualify. It is a separate place and it is where the harder groups form.
  • If you played the original, trust your instincts. The layout and the commands are the same underneath.

What Is Free in Dungeon Quest Reborn

Every single thing in it

Seven items are attached to the game and all seven are switched off. There is no paid shortcut in this game because there is no shop.

A daily reward

Handed out for turning up. It is the nearest thing this game has to a code, and there are no codes.

Boss raids and wave defence

Both sit alongside the ordinary dungeons and neither is gated behind anything.

The whole back catalogue, fast

The rebuild has worked through to the original’s fourteenth dungeon in under six months. The original took over three years to get there.
