Last Updated: August 2026 | Three scripts, and the free one came first.
Everyone in the room gets the same cartoon character with the color drained out of it, and you have to put the color back. You are not picking from a few buttons. You slide a picker to any shade you want, and the game scores you on how close you got.
So a near miss still pays. Get Gumball a little too green and you still score most of it. Miss him by a mile and you get almost nothing. That is why people come looking for a script, and there are three of them.
Guess the character color Script List
All three do the same three things. Only one of them lets you see how.

| ProBest |
A key, and it pushes a paid upgrade. |
No. Scrambled as well, and it opens a shop button inside the menu. |

The first one on that list is free, needs no key, and you can read every line of it. It went up on 20 July. Fifteen days later the second one appeared with the same three switches in the same order, a key in front of it and a Buy button inside it. The third is the same three switches again, free, and you cannot read it.
So if you were going to hand money to the middle one, the top one already does those three things and costs nothing.

What the Readable One Tells You
You do not have to run anything to get something out of this part.
The open one is plain text, and reading it explains how a round works better than the game page does. When a round starts, the game hands every player the same character name. When you answer, what leaves your computer is three numbers between 0 and 255. That is a red amount, a green amount and a blue amount, which is how a computer writes a color.
That is why your score is a percentage and not a right or wrong. The game compares your three numbers to its three numbers and works out how far apart they are. It also explains the only badge in the game, which is called Perfect score and is handed out for a 100 percent.
The other useful bit is what happens at the end of a round. The game shows everyone the right answer. The script simply writes that answer down in a file on your computer, so the next time that character comes up it already knows. It starts with 38 characters written in and learns the rest as it plays.
You can do exactly that yourself for free. The answer is shown to the whole room every round. Write down the ones you keep missing and you will beat your own score inside a week.
Read This Before You Run One
There is nothing to grind in this game. No coins, no levels, no shop. Both items the game used to sell were taken off sale on 12 August and never replaced, so there is nothing a script can save you money on either.
A room holds 26 people and everybody answers the same character at the same time. A script does not shorten anything for you. It answers for you, and answering is the whole game.
It is also not out of reach without one. 115,424 players already hold the Perfect score badge, and about 1,700 more earn it every day.
So use a spare account if you use one at all.
How to Use a Guess the character color Script
1Get an executor. Our guide covers what they are and which ones people use.
2Log into a spare account, not the one you care about.
3Open the game and wait for a round to finish loading before you paste anything.
4Copy the whole line from one of the boxes above.
5Paste it into the executor and run it. A small menu opens with the switches.
6Turn on Auto Color first. Leave Auto Submit off until you have watched one round.
7If you picked the third one, it asks for a key before the menu appears.
What You Get Free
The right answer, every round
The game shows the whole room the correct color once the round ends. That is free information you can write down.
Partial credit
You never get zero for being close. A near miss still scores, so a rough guess beats no guess.
Everything in the game
There is no shop. The two items it used to sell came off sale on 12 August, so nothing is locked behind money.
A room that fills up
Rooms hold 26 and most sit at 22 or 23, so you are rarely waiting for people.
If You Use an Executor
Our executor guide covers what they are and how people run them.
Scripts break the Roblox Terms of Service. If you run one, use an alt account. An alt is a spare account you would not mind losing. A real script is a line of text you paste into an executor, never a program you download.
Scam warning: No page needs your Roblox login, your email or a payment to show you a line of text. If one asks, close it. Never pay for a script.
Two more party games we have written up: Draw or Oof and Create Words or Die.
About Guess the character color
Guess the character color opened on 26 June 2026 and passed 89 million visits in nine weeks. It is by far the biggest thing its studio has made.
It was busiest on 27 July, when 38,856 people were in it at once. It now runs at about a third of that, which is still a very busy game.
A visit lasts about ten minutes, a room holds 26, and the game has exactly one badge.
For the character list, the shop that closed and the games that followed it, see our Guess the character color wiki.
