Guess the character color shows a room of 26 people the same cartoon character with all the color taken out of it, and asks everyone to put it back. You drag a picker to whatever shade you think is right and send it in. The game then shows everyone the real answer and scores you on how close you were, which is why nobody ever gets a flat wrong.
It opened on 26 June 2026 and passed 89 million visits in nine weeks, which makes it the biggest thing CineStars has ever made by a long way. This page has the characters it uses, the single badge it hands out, the shop it closed in August, and the eight games that turned up behind it.

How to Play Guess the character color
- Join a room and wait for the round to start. Rooms hold 26 and most of them are nearly full, so you rarely wait long.
- Look at the character on the board. It is a cartoon you almost certainly know, with all the color drained out of it.
- Drag the picker to the color you think it should be. You are not choosing from four buttons. You can land on any shade you like.
- Send your answer before the timer runs out. Anything is better than nothing, because being close still scores.
- Watch the reveal. The game shows the whole room the right color, so write down the ones you got badly wrong.
- Play the next round with that in your head. That is the entire way to get better at this game, and it costs nothing.
Guess the character color Gameplay: Why the Score Is a Percentage
The pictures on the game page show four colored squares, and they give the wrong idea about how the game works. There are not four answers to choose between.
What actually leaves your computer when you answer is three numbers, each between 0 and 255. One for red, one for green, one for blue. That is how a computer writes a color, and it means the number of possible answers is in the millions.
That is where the score comes from. Three more numbers are held for the right answer, and the gap between the two sets becomes your percentage. Get Gumball slightly too green and you land in the nineties. Guess red for him and you get almost nothing.
The badge backs this up. The only badge in the game is called Perfect score and its description says you made a perfect 100 percent. A game with four buttons would not need the word percent at all.

One show supplies more of the cast than any other. Five of the 38 come from The Amazing World of Gumball, the game’s picture is Gumball, and Gumball is the first name in the game’s own description. If you only learn one set of colors, learn that family.
The Only Badge in the Game
Most games this size hand out twenty or thirty badges. This one has exactly one, and it is called Perfect score.
115,424 players hold it, and about 1,700 more earn it every day. So a perfect answer is well within reach. It is not a trophy for the top hundred players.
One thing to keep in mind about that number. There is no badge for simply joining the game, so there is nothing to measure it against. On top of that, the badge was only made on 13 July, seventeen days after the game opened, so it cannot count anybody who played in the first fortnight.
In other words it is a real number of real people, but it is not a share of everyone who has ever played. Nobody can work that share out, and any page that gives you one has made it up.
The Shop Closed Itself in August
The game has sold exactly two things in its life, and both of them stopped being sold on the same day.

The first was put up on 18 July, the second on 15 July, and both came down on 12 August. Neither has come back.
So right now there is nothing in this game you can spend Robux on. No coins, no gems, no ranks, no skins. That is unusual for a game with twelve thousand people in it, and it is also the reason no code has ever existed for it. We are stating the dates and nothing else, because the studio has not said why.

Two of those are worth a closer look, because they are not just similar in spirit.
At the bottom of a Roblox game page, studios often paste a list of search words so their game turns up in more searches. This game has one. So does Character Color Guess, which opened five days later, and so does Character Color Race, which opened on 20 July.
All three lists are the same. Not similar, the same. The same 183 letters, the same words in the same order, and the line breaks fall in exactly the same two places. Eleven other color guessing games have no such list at all.
This one is the oldest of the three and about ten times the size of the next one. We are putting the dates and the match on the page and leaving it there, because nobody outside those studios can say how it happened.
How Busy It Is
Its busiest moment so far was 27 July, when 38,856 people were in it at once. It has settled to around a third of that since, which is still a very busy game.
A visit lasts about ten minutes. That is short, and it fits a round that is over in seconds and a game with nothing to build up.
Rooms hold 26 and almost all of them sit at 22 or 23. If you want a quieter room you will have to keep leaving and rejoining, because the game fills one up before it opens the next.
About 61 in every 100 votes are likes, from 47,906 votes. That is a low score, and the fastest way to lose a round is what explains it. A character nobody has heard of leaves you guessing at random.

- Always send something. A wild guess still scores a little, and an empty answer scores nothing at all.
- Watch the reveal at the end of every round. That is the game handing you the answer sheet for free.

About Guess the character color
Guess the character color is made by CineStars, a studio whose other games are mostly about sitting and watching videos. Two of them are Peppa Pig video rooms. This is the first thing it has made that people play rather than watch, and it is more than twice the size of everything else it owns put together.
That history shows up in an odd place. The pass the game used to sell was called VIP and what it unlocked was all the videos, which makes far more sense in the studio’s other games than in this one.
What it makes is very simple, and that is the point. There is nothing to grind, nothing to buy and one badge to earn. You either know what color Squidward is or you do not.
