Last Updated: August 2026 | 57 million visits, no badges, no codes, and one very odd number.
Zombies vs Security gives you a house and a day to get ready. When the light goes the zombies come, and everything you built either holds or it does not. Eight players share a server and each of you has your own place to defend.
It opened in March 2025 and has passed 57 million visits. This page has how the night cycle works, what the studio was building before this game even existed, and one number that sets it apart from every other game its size.

How to Play Zombies vs Security
The whole game is one cycle repeated. Build in the light, hold in the dark, then do it again with whatever survived.
- Use the day. Daylight is your building time and it is the only part of the cycle you control.
- Work out the route first. The zombies walk a path to your door, so look at where they will come from before you spend anything.
- Make the path longer rather than thicker. Time on the route is worth more than one heavy wall they will chew through anyway.
- Cover your door last. It is the thing they are actually heading for, so leave enough for it.
- Watch the light. When it starts going the building is over, and anything half finished counts as not finished.
- Survive the night. What you take into the next day depends on how much of the house is still standing.
- Play with the other seven. Eight fit in a server and a shared plan holds far better than four separate houses.
There are no badges in this game, so nothing is keeping score for you. How long you last is the only measure there is.
Zombies vs Security Gameplay: Almost Nobody Votes
Here is the odd number. This game has 57 million visits and 8,260 votes, and that gap is far wider than anything else we have covered.
| Game |
Visits |
How often somebody voted |
| Shovelware’s Brain Game |
58,606,455 |
Once every 321 visits |
| Visual Pianos |
61,112,187 |
Once every 1,230 visits |
| Dig DEEPER for Brainrots |
58,035,302 |
Once every 1,239 visits |
| Zombies vs Security |
57,148,609 |
Once every 6,919 visits |
Put plainly, somebody votes here once every 6,919 visits. On a quiz game of almost exactly the same size, it happens once every 321.
That is more than twenty times fewer. The two games opened within a year of each other and sit within two million visits of one another.
Part of it is the shape of this game. Rounds are short, servers hold eight, and a visit is counted every time you drop back in, so the visit number climbs quickly.
The rating is worth a look too. About 74 in every 100 votes are likes, which is the lowest score of any game we have written up.
Both numbers point the same way. People play this a lot and think about it very little, which is a fair description of a game you dip into for one night at a time.

Nine Rooms, and Four Came First
Nine separate rooms sit under this game, and only one of them is the game. The rest are workshops, and their names give away what the team was doing.
| What the room is called |
What it tells you |
| A room for map two |
Made before the game itself was. A second map was started before the first one opened. |
| A room for watching numbers |
Also made first. The team set up their own way of measuring how people play before anyone played. |
| Two rooms named after one developer |
Test spaces. One person clearly does a lot of the building here. |
| A room named after another developer |
A second name, which is most of what you learn about the size of this team. |
| A room for editing menus |
Made after the game opened, so the menus were being reworked once real players arrived. |
The order they were made in is the interesting part, and you can read it straight off. Four of the nine came before the game did.
One of those four is a room for a second map. Another is a room for watching their own numbers.
So before a single player walked in, this team had already begun map two and built themselves a way to measure map one. That is more planning than a small studio usually shows.
The Name Keeps Changing Its Mind
Small thing, but useful if you are searching. This game cannot decide whether it is zombie or zombies.
The page has used both spellings, and the game’s own artwork reads Zombie vs Security while the game itself is called Zombies vs Security.
The page name has also carried a season two tag since late August 2025, and an update tag two weeks after that.
If you are looking for news about it, try both spellings. Half the trail sits under one and half under the other.
Tips for New Zombies vs Security Players
- Spend the whole day building. There is no reward for saving up, and anything unspent when the light goes is wasted.
- Stretch the route before you thicken the walls. Every extra second on the path is a second they are not at your door.
- Do not leave the door until last by accident. It is what they are aiming for, so plan for it from the start.
- Talk to the other seven. A shared plan across eight houses beats eight separate ones every time.
- Check whether a new season has landed. The nights change between seasons, so old advice goes stale.
- Do not go looking for a script. Nobody has written one for this game, so anything offered to you was invented.
Zombies vs Security FAQ
What am I defending against?
A swarm that comes at night. The day is for building and the night is the test, and the cycle repeats.
How many players are in a server?
Eight, which is small. You are working against the swarm rather than competing with the others.
Are there any badges?
None at all. Nothing in this game is tracking what you have done, so how long you last is the only score.
Is there a working script?
No, and more than that, nobody has written one. Our Zombies vs Security script page goes through what a search actually returns.
Why does it have so few votes?
Nobody can say for certain. What is clear is that this game gets one vote for every 6,919 visits, where a game of the same size gets one every 321.
Is it still being updated?
Yes. A second season arrived in August 2025 and the most recent update landed in August 2026.
Is the name spelled with an s?
Both ways. The game is called Zombies vs Security, but its own artwork drops the s, so search for both.
About the Studio
The team behind this game runs a group of about 20,000 members and has two games out.
The other one has passed 19 million visits, so between them the pair are approaching 77 million. That is a lot for a small team that is not a verified studio.
Two developers have their names on workshop rooms, which is most of what anyone outside knows about how many people are involved.
