Three of them go further and say in their own titles that they are for ruining other people’s games. Those we would not touch under any circumstances.

Pool already shows you a guide. When you line up a shot the game draws a short line off the cue so you can see roughly where the ball is going.
That line being short is the game. Judging where the ball ends up beyond it is the skill you are supposed to be practising.
So what is on offer here is not a shortcut past a grind. It is seeing further than the person you are playing against can see.
The Two Most Popular Ones Are the Same File
This is worth knowing before you go hunting, because it tells you how thin the ground is.
The two most viewed entries for this game have about 35,000 views each, so roughly 70,000 between them. They are the same twenty lines of code.
Not similar, and not a copy with changes. Take the comments out of both and they come to exactly the same 895 characters.
The only difference is that one has somebody’s name stamped on every single line as a credit. That is why it looks nearly three times bigger.
So the whole scene around this game is much smaller than the count suggests. One short idea, passed around and renamed.
Why a Longer Line Is Not Like a Faster Grind
Most games we write about have a long boring middle. A menu skips it, and the argument is about whether skipping is worth the risk to your account.
Pool has no middle. It is one table and two people taking turns, and a match is over in a few minutes.
Nothing is farming while you are away and nothing is counting up. There is no grind here to skip in the first place.
So every shot you sink with a longer line is a shot taken off the person across the table, in a game they thought was fair.
There is a second part to it as well. The cues in this game are unlocked by winning matches, so somebody with a longer line is also taking the unlocks off everybody they beat.
What Actually Makes You Better at Pool
Learn where the cue ball stops, not just where it hits
Almost everybody aims at the ball they want to pot. Good players are already thinking about where the white ends up afterwards.
Take the easy pot and leave yourself a second one
A simple shot that sets up the next one beats a clever shot that leaves you nothing.
Use the rails on purpose
Angles off the cushion are predictable once you have hit a few hundred of them, and the guide line does not help with those anyway.
Play the safety when nothing is on
Leaving your opponent with no shot is a real move. Most players never try it and just fire hopefully at a cluster.
Win cues by winning games
The unlocks come from matches. Every cue somebody earns honestly is one they will still have if their account is still around next month.

1Understand what you are choosing. In a one against one game there is no grind to skip, so this only affects the person opposite you.
2Walk away from anything that says it ruins servers. Three of these say it in their own titles, and that is a promise to spoil other people’s games.

4Sign in on an alt account. A spare account you would not mind losing, never your main one.
