Hide the Body has no working codes right now, and that is worth saying carefully. It has had them before, seven of them, and every single one has expired. One widely copied list still shows an Easter code as active, which is worth knowing before you spend ten minutes typing it.
The useful part here is where the code box hides, because almost nobody writes it down and it is not where you would look. Below is that path, the full expired list, and what the old codes tell you about when new ones turn up.
Active Hide the Body Codes (August 2026)
Nothing works today, and one list will tell you otherwise.
A page that updates itself automatically still shows a code handing out an Easter basket. It is late August, the code is from the spring, and two other write-ups from July say every code has run out.
Codes are case-sensitive here, so when a new one does land, type it exactly as written. The old ones mixed capitals and small letters in the same word.
How to Redeem Hide the Body Codes
This is the part worth keeping, because the box is hidden behind two menus and almost nobody explains it.
1Click the Shop button on the left side of your screen.
2Inside the shop menu, click Donate on the right hand side. This is the step people miss.
3Scroll all the way to the bottom of that panel.
4Type your code into the Enter Code box and press Redeem.
5If nothing happens, leave and rejoin. A fresh server picks up a new code faster.
Nothing will work today, but the path is worth learning now so that a new code takes you ten seconds rather than ten minutes.
Expired Hide the Body Codes
Seven codes have gone out since the game opened and all seven are dead. They are listed here because the pattern in them is the useful part.

The rewards were crates and cash. One gave a rare crate, one gave a thousand cash, one gave a common crate, and one gave an Easter basket in the spring.
Look at the names and you can date them. NewLobby went out with a lobby rebuild, and two of them are just called an update. Those match the moments the game changed its own title to advertise skins, then quests, then classes.
When Do New Hide the Body Codes Drop?
Nobody outside the studio can promise you a date, but the old codes point at an answer.
Every code this game has released came out beside an update. Skins in July, quests a fortnight later, classes in December, and a code went out around each of them.
The game was updated the day before this page was written, so it is still being worked on. A big content push is the moment to come back and look.

Get past five bodies first
Three quarters of everybody who plays never do. It is the hardest step in the whole game and everything after it is easier.
Learn one house properly
The fridge, the wardrobe, the bath and the bin are the spots that come up again and again. Knowing one map beats guessing on five.
Skip the coin doubler until you know you are staying
It is 299 Robux, which is most of the shop, and it only pays off if you are already hiding bodies quickly.
Try the second lobby
There is a pro lobby in this game that most players never open. It costs nothing to look at.
Play with friends
The developer’s own description says the game is better with them, and servers hold fifteen.
What The Shop Costs Instead
Three passes and 527 Robux for all of them, which is a small shop for a game this big.
A coin doubler is 299, a boombox that plays music by ID is 129 and is marked permanent, and ten extra items to use is 99.
Only the first one touches the grind. The other two are for messing about, which in a game about stuffing bodies into fridges is most of the appeal.
About Hide the Body
Somebody turns up uninvited and ends up on your floor. You hide them in a fridge, a wardrobe, a bath or a bin before anybody notices, and you get coins for it.
It is made by a verified group called Doge Cloud and it opened in June 2025. Servers hold 15 players and a round lasts under six minutes.
It has passed 381 million visits in fifteen months, and more than 84 million people have played it at least once.
