Studio Lite has no codes and no box to type one into. That is not an oversight, it is what the game is: there is no shop, no coins and nothing to buy, so there is nothing a code could hand you. What it gives away instead is the whole toolset, free, plus six lessons on how to use it.
This is a game about building your own game on a phone. The rewards here are things you make and things you learn, not a balance going up. Below is what is actually free, what the badges say about how far people get, and the rule about publishing that catches everybody out.
Active Studio Lite Codes (August 2026)
There are none, and there is nothing for one to give you.
Most games hand out codes because they have a shop and a currency, and a code is a way to top you up. This one has neither. In four years it has never put a single item on sale.
So a page promising you working codes for this game has nothing real behind it. There is no balance in here to add to.
The Shop That Does Not Exist
This is worth pausing on, because it is unusual. The game opened in September 2022 and has passed 130 million visits. In all that time nothing has ever been put up for sale in it.
No passes, no coins, no gems, no membership. There is no way to spend Robux in here at all, so there is no gap for a code to fill.
Robux does move through this game, but it goes the other way. If you finish a build and put it out for other people to play, anything it earns is yours, handled the same as any other game on the site.
How To Redeem Codes in Studio Lite
You cannot, because there is nowhere to put one. There is no gift button and no code box anywhere in the menus. Keep these for the day that changes.
1Look along the top bar and in the File menu. That is where a code box would appear if one were ever added.
2Type it exactly as written. Roblox codes are case-sensitive, so a single wrong capital letter stops it working.
3Copy and paste instead of typing, especially on a phone, where it is easy to add a space you cannot see.
4Rejoin if a brand new code does nothing. That puts you on a fresher server.
5Ignore any site that wants your password or a payment first. No real code has ever needed either.
When Do New Studio Lite Codes Drop?
Nobody can promise you a date, and here nobody can promise a first one either. A code needs something to pay out, and this game has not built that side at all.
The game is still being worked on. It was last updated in July 2026, almost four years after it opened, and it is busier now than it has ever been. Its best day for players in the last month came within 5 percent of its all-time record.
So this is not a game winding down. It simply pays people in tools rather than in prizes, and that has not changed since 2022.

Free Things Worth Doing Instead
Work through the six tutorials
They cover the build tools, the Toolbox, on-screen text and buttons, and writing your own code. Each one gives you a badge, and they are the only rewards here.
Raid the Toolbox
It is full of ready-made models, images and sounds made by other people, free to drop into your build. A jetpack, a conveyor and a working kill brick are all in there already.
Open the sample game
There is a Dance Club sample built in, and it comes with working code for playing and selling emotes. Reading somebody else’s finished game is the fastest way to learn.
Get publishing switched on
Publishing does not work straight away. The game tells you your builds can only be played by you until you have sorted out the account requirements, so do that early rather than after you have finished something.
Use it to pass the college class
If you play Growing Up, the same developer wired these two games together. Doing the tutorials in here counts towards the class at age 20 in that one.
How Far People Actually Get
The six tutorial badges are the only score this game keeps, and they were all added on the same day, so the numbers can be compared fairly.
About 1.86 million people have finished the first one. Only around 191,000 got through the second, which is a little over one in ten.
By the last lesson, the one where you write your own loops, it is down to roughly 28,000. That is about one and a half people in every hundred who started.
There is an odd twist in the middle. The lesson on putting text and buttons on screen has fewer finishers than the harder coding one that comes after it, so a lot of people skip it and go straight to the code.
