Zombie Attack is one of those classic Roblox wave-survival games that has been around for years, and for good reason. You and a team of players hold your ground against endless waves of zombies, earn coins, buy better gear, and try to make it as far as possible before getting wiped out. Simple idea, genuinely fun execution.
How Zombie Attack Actually Works
Each round, zombies pour in from the edges of the map and your job is to shoot them down before they reach you. You earn coins for every kill, and those coins go toward buying new weapons from the shop between waves. There are rifles, shotguns, miniguns, and more powerful options that unlock as you level up and save enough cash.
The waves get harder fast. Early on you can coast through with a basic gun, but by wave 10 or so the zombies are tankier, faster, and start coming in bigger numbers. Boss zombies show up to make things even messier. Teamwork matters here because solo players get overwhelmed pretty quickly on the higher waves.
There are different maps to play on and some limited-time modes that shake things up. You can also pick different characters with slight stat differences, though a lot of the better options are locked behind Robux or the in-game currency grind.
What’s Worth Your Time and What Isn’t
The core loop is genuinely satisfying. Clearing a tough wave with a good team, upgrading to a new weapon right before things get brutal, surviving longer than you expected, it all feels rewarding. The game runs smoothly and is easy to jump into with friends or even randoms.
The frustrating part is how long the coin grind takes if you want the best weapons. Some of the top-tier gear feels locked behind way too many hours of farming the same waves over and over. Matches with bad teammates can end early and waste your time with nothing to show for it. That gets old fast.
As for the current state of the game, Zombie Attack still has an active playerbase but it is not exactly booming. Updates have slowed down compared to its peak days. It is still worth playing, especially with friends, but do not expect constant fresh content dropping every week.
