Last Updated: August 2026 | Rules, badge and shop checked against the live game.
Slap Chips is a two player guessing game built around a snack fight. You and one opponent each get a grid of crisps, and each of you hides slaps underneath your own squares. Then you take turns picking squares off the other person’s board.
A crisp means nothing happens. A slap means you take one, and you only have three hearts. It opened in February 2026 and pulled in more than 94 million visits in six months, which is very fast. This page covers how a round works, what the numbers say about how people play it, and why it has no codes, no scripts and nothing on sale.

How to Play Slap Chips
A round takes a couple of minutes and the rules fit in a sentence.
- Join a table with one other player. Everything happens between the two of you.
- Hide your slaps under your own grid of crisps. Your opponent cannot see where they went.
- Take turns picking squares off their board. They do the same to yours.
- A crisp is safe. A slap costs you one of your three hearts.
- Keep track of which squares are already gone, because the board shrinks as you play.
- Lose all three hearts and the round ends. Then it starts again with a fresh grid.
How a Round Works
Everything in Slap Chips comes down to six things, and none of them take any learning.
| Part |
What it is |
How it works |
| The grid |
Two boards |
You get one, your opponent gets the other. Slaps hide under the crisps. |
| Your turn |
Pick a square |
You choose one square on their board and find out what was under it. |
| A crisp |
Safe |
Nothing happens and play passes to the other person. |
| A slap |
Costs a heart |
You take the slap and lose one of your three. |
| Three hearts |
The whole clock |
Lose all three and the round is over. |
| Hiding |
Your only real choice |
Where you put your own slaps is the one thing you actually control. |
The last row is the one worth thinking about. Picking squares is pure luck, so the only skill in the game is where you hide your own slaps and how well you read where your opponent hid theirs.

Slap Chips Gameplay: What The Numbers Say About It
This game is unusual enough that its own figures are worth laying out side by side.
| Number |
Count |
What it means |
| Visits |
94,763,813 |
In six months. That is a very fast start for any Roblox game. |
| Favourites |
96,646 |
About one favourite for every 980 visits. |
| Likes |
20,178 |
Against 3,420 dislikes, so roughly 1 vote in 7 is a dislike. |
| Badge holders |
1,266,693 |
Everyone who has beaten the only badge in the game. |
| Gamepasses |
0 |
Nothing is for sale. Not one item. |
| Group members |
169,528 |
The group you are asked to join for rewards. |
Two of those stand out. The first is the zero. A game with nearly 95 million visits that sells absolutely nothing is rare, and it means nobody at your table has bought anything you have not.
The second is the gap between visits and favourites. Roughly one visit in 980 ends with somebody favouriting the game. For comparison, a racing game covered here recently sits at about one in 500, and a large shooter at about one in 30.
That is the shape of a game people try because it is everywhere rather than one they settle into. Rounds are short and complete in themselves, so there is nothing pulling you back tomorrow. Whether that is a flaw depends entirely on what you want from a couple of minutes.
The Only Badge In The Game
Slap Chips keeps exactly one badge, and it is called Defeated 1x1x1x1. It has 1,266,693 holders. That name is a nod to an old piece of Roblox folklore, a character players have told stories about for years.
The badge was added on the 23rd of February 2026, a fortnight after the game opened. That matters, because it means the count covers almost the whole life of the game rather than a slice of it.
It is also the only progress marker that exists here. No levels, no ranks, no collection to fill in. You have either beaten that one thing or you have not, and after that every round starts level again.
Codes
This game has none, and there is no box to type one into either. If you have found a code list for it, that list belongs to a different Roblox game with a similar name. Our Slap Chips Codes page shows how to tell the two apart.
Who Makes Slap Chips
It comes from a verified group called simply games, which has 169,528 members. The game opened in February 2026 and was last updated in July.
It has passed 94 million visits in six months and been favourited over 96,000 times. About 85 in every 100 votes on it are likes, which is lower than most games of this size, and the game asks players to join its group for rewards.
Tips for New Slap Chips Players
- Keep your slaps out of the corners. Corners feel safe to pick, so that is where people poke first.
- Spread your slaps around the board. Bunch them together and one lucky hit gives away the rest.
- Watch which squares your opponent stays away from. People rarely pick close to their own hiding spots.
- Change your pattern every single round. Anyone you play twice will remember where you hid last time.
- Losing the first heart is not a disaster. You have three, so there is no reason to start rushing after one.
- Nobody can buy an advantage over you here, because there is nothing on sale. Every round is even.
- Do not go hunting for codes for this game. There are none, and the lists you find belong to a different game with a similar name.
- Ignore anything offering a script for it. There is nothing in this game for one to do, since your opponent hides their slaps on their own screen.
Slap Chips FAQ
How do you play Slap Chips?
You and one other player each hide slaps under a grid of crisps, then take turns picking squares off the other board. A crisp is safe, a slap costs a heart, and you have three.
How many hearts do you get?
Three. Lose all of them and the round is over.
Does Slap Chips have codes?
No, and there is no code box in the game. Any code list you find is for a different Roblox game with a similar name.
Is there a Slap Chips script?
No. Your opponent hides their slaps on their own screen, so there is nothing for a script to work out, and the game has no farming to automate.
How many gamepasses does Slap Chips have?
None at all. The game does not sell a single thing, so nobody can buy an advantage.
How many badges are there?
One, called Defeated 1x1x1x1, held by 1,266,693 players. It was added a fortnight after the game opened.
Is there any skill in it, or is it all luck?
Picking squares is luck. Where you hide your own slaps is a real choice, and so is noticing which squares your opponent keeps away from.
What platforms does it run on?
PC, mobile and console.
How many players are in a server?
Up to 30, but each round is played between two of them.
