How to Play Save One Song
There is no long tutorial, so here is the short version. You join the lobby, a song plays, and you save the songs you like best. Do that over and over until your favorite is the last one standing.
The fun part is that everyone in the server votes at the same time. So the winning song is really the one your whole room loves the most.
- Join the game and wait for the lobby to load in around you.
- Listen to the songs that play. Each round shows you a few to choose from.
- Walk your player onto the platform of the song you want to save.
- Watch the song with the fewest players get knocked out.
- Keep saving your favorite each round until only one song is left.
- Ask the group to add a song if the one you love is missing.
Save One Song Gameplay Systems Explained
| System |
How It Works |
| The Round |
A short clip of each song plays. You listen, then decide which one you want to keep |
| Voting With Your Feet |
You do not press a button to vote. You walk your player onto the platform of the song you want to save |
| Elimination |
The song the fewest players stood on gets knocked out. It is gone for the rest of that game |
| Saving Your Song |
Rounds keep going, one song at a time, until only one song is left. If it is yours, you saved it |
| The Song List |
The game has more than 285 anime songs built in. The team adds new songs most months |
| Song Requests |
You can ask for a song to be added. Post your request in the Nova Motion Studio group |
| Other Versions |
The same team made a World, Rock, Rap and Hip-Hop, and K-pop version, each with its own songs |
How Does a Song Win?
This is the part new players ask about most, so here is how it really works. There is no single “correct” song. A song wins only because more players saved it than the others. So the result is a vote, and it changes every game.
That means the trick is not skill, it is people. If you want your song to win, get your friends to stand on it with you. A full server can hold 25 players, and the biggest group of votes always wins the round. Below are the words you will see while you play.
| Word |
What It Means |
| Save One |
The whole idea of the game. Each round you save one song and let another one go |
| Round |
One turn where a song plays and players vote. The game is just lots of rounds in a row |
| Eliminated |
A song that got the fewest votes and dropped out. It cannot come back that game |
| Lobby |
The room where everyone waits and votes. You stand on song platforms in here |
| Song Request |
When you ask the team to add a song you like. You post it in their Roblox group |
| Version |
One of the different games in the family, like Anime or K-pop, each with its own songs |
Every Save One Song Version, Ranked
Save One Song is not just one game. The same team, Nova Motion Studio, made a whole set of them, and each one has its own song list. They all play exactly the same way. The only difference is the music. We pulled the player rating for each version so you can pick the best one. The rating is the share of players who gave the game a thumbs up.
| Version |
Music In It |
Player Rating |
| Save One Song (Anime) |
Anime songs |
72% |
| Save One Song (K-pop) |
K-pop songs |
83% |
| Save One Song (Rap/Hip-Hop) |
Rap and hip-hop |
80% |
| Save One Song (Rock) |
Rock songs |
78% |
| Save One Song (World) |
All kinds of hit songs |
69% |
Here is the honest read. The World version has the most visits of the whole family, but it also has the lowest rating, about 69 percent. The K-pop version rates the highest, at around 83 percent. The Rap and Hip-Hop version is the newest and smallest, but it is often the busiest one right now. This Anime version sits in the middle, at about 72 percent. So the best pick is easy: play the version that matches the music you like most. If you love anime songs, this is your game.
How we worked this out: the ratings are the public like scores Roblox shows for each version. Player counts and visits change all day, so we kept those in the notes above instead of the table.
Tips for New Save One Song Players
- Stand on your song fast. If you wait too long, you might miss the round.
- Bring friends. The biggest group of votes wins, so a team can save any song.
- Listen before you pick. A song you did not know might end up being your new favorite.
- Request the songs you love. Post them in the Nova Motion Studio group to get them added.
- Try the other versions. If you like K-pop or rock more, there is a whole game for it.
- Do not pay for shortcuts. The game has no gamepasses, so nobody has an edge over you.
- Watch out for fake codes. The game has no code box, so any site posting codes is making them up.
