Project Baki 2 is a Roblox fighting game built around the Baki the Grappler anime. You pick a fighting style, train your stats, and beat the living daylights out of other players and NPCs. It sounds simple, but there’s actually a lot going on under the surface.
What You Actually Do in Project Baki 2
You start out weak. Really weak. The whole point is grinding your strength, speed, and endurance stats until you can actually hold your own in a fight. You do that by training at specific spots around the map, hitting sandbags, lifting weights, and sparring with NPCs or other players.
The fighting styles are where things get interesting. You can learn moves from styles like Karate, Judo, or Clonal Feather, each with their own combo strings and special attacks. Pulling off a clean combo and finishing someone with a heavy finisher feels genuinely satisfying, especially once you’ve put real time into your character.
PvP is a big part of the game. There are arenas where players go to test their builds, and the level gap between a new player and a maxed-out veteran is massive. Expect to lose a lot at the start. That’s just how it goes.
The Good, the Annoying, and Where the Game Stands Now
The combat actually feels pretty solid for a Roblox game. Blocking, countering, and timing your hits matters, so it’s not just mashing buttons and hoping for the best. Fans of the Baki anime will also appreciate how much the game leans into the source material with its style names and overall vibe.
The grind is brutal, and that’s not always a good thing. Getting your stats to a competitive level takes a serious amount of time, and if you run into a high-level player while you’re still building up, you’re basically just a punching bag. Some players love that challenge, but a lot of newer players just quit before they ever get to the fun part.
The game has been around for a while and the player count has dropped compared to its peak. Updates come through but they’re not always frequent. It’s not dead, but it’s also not blowing up on the front page either. If you’re a fan of grinding-based anime fighters, there’s still plenty here to enjoy, just go in knowing it takes patience.
