Plane Crazy is a building sandbox made by a verified Roblox group called Plane Crazy Developers. You get a plot and a crate of parts, and you bolt them together into a plane, a car, a boat, a train or a walking mech. Then you climb in and find out whether it flies or falls apart. Servers hold twelve, so somebody is always watching.
This one is old. It opened in July 2014 and it is still getting updates, which almost nothing on Roblox manages. That long history left some strange things behind, like a badge that nearly 5.5 million players hold and nobody can ever earn again. How to Play Plane Crazy
Nothing here is a race and nothing is timed. You start on an empty plot and the game waits for you.
- Join a server and find your own plot. Every player gets one, and yours is the only one you can build on.
- Open the build tool. That is the box with every block in it, sorted into groups.
- Start with a flat base. A wide plate of blocks under everything is what stops your first plane rolling over.
- Add an engine and some wings. Engines push, wings lift, and you need both facing the right way.
- Use the configuration tool on anything that moves. That is where you pick which key turns your engine on.
- Press the fly button and see what happens. If it spins into the ground, go back and move the wings.
- Save the build you like. Rebuilding a good plane from memory is the thing everybody wishes they had not skipped.
Plane Crazy Gameplay
The game has two halves. Build mode freezes your craft so you can work on it, and flight mode hands it over to real physics. Everything you make gets weighed and pushed around properly, so a heavy nose really does drop.
Build mode gives you four tools, and you will use all of them in your first ten minutes.

The parts list runs a lot deeper than planes. There are propellers and jets, rocket engines, hover thrusters, wheels and landing gear, hinges, pistons, springs and ball joints, plus guns, TNT and fireworks if you want a fight.
Some servers have battles switched on and some are peaceful. In a peaceful one nobody can shoot your work down, which is where most of the big builds get made.
There is no money in this game at all. No coins, no cash, no shop to grind for. You get better by learning where to put the wings, not by unlocking anything.

The rarest badge in the game |
Read the top two rows together, because they are the whole history of the game. Beta Tester is the one you get for playing the version that is live now, and 52,763 players picked it up in the last day.
Alpha Tester is the one from before. The game was rebuilt in 2020 and that badge stopped being handed out, so its 5.5 million holders are a closed club. Not one person has earned it in the past day, and nobody ever will again.
The bottom of the table is where it gets silly. Eggmin has gone to 174 players in the game’s whole life. Against the number of people who hold Beta Tester, that is about one player in every 330,000.
Two of the badges are just for bumping into the people who make the game. The owner has been met by 14,564 players. The other developer has been met by 344.
One badge is live right now. The summer event badge went to 251 players in the last day, so that event is running while you read this. The autumn one has gone quiet and both of its passes came off sale, which is how you can tell an event has ended.

The set used to be written up at 3,977 Robux. It is 5,621 today, which is a jump of about 41 percent. Eleven of the thirteen went up and the summer block pack nearly doubled.
Two went the other way. A parachute colour is cheaper than it was, and so is the tip jar, which is the one pass that gives you almost nothing on purpose.
Two more passes are off sale completely. Both were made for the autumn event in October 2025 and neither can be bought now, so an event pass here is worth grabbing while the event is on.
Things Hidden Around the Map
The map is bigger than the plot field. There is a sea, a set of rails, an airport, a mesa, a floating island and a test lake, and people have been poking at them for years.
One badge is called You found gold, and 185,667 players hold it. Nothing tells you where to look, which is the point.
Players who write the game’s own wiki say there is a cave in the canyon with a door and a control room behind it, a pipeline that runs into the sea, and a picture hidden on the floating island as a joke. Those are player reports rather than anything the team has confirmed, so treat them as a treasure map and not a promise.
The same players say that typing the words free robux in chat gets you called a scammer by the game itself. If that one is true, it tells you exactly what the team thinks of that offer, and so should you.
Tips for New Plane Crazy Players
- Build wide before you build tall. A flat base is the difference between a plane and a very fast tumble.
- Put the engine behind the middle of the craft. Weight at the front drops the nose every time.
- Learn the configuration tool early. Half the parts in the game do nothing until you tell them which key to listen for.
- Try a peaceful server for your first big build. Nobody can shoot it down while you work.
- Copy something simple first. Rebuilding a basic plane block by block teaches you more than any list of tips.
- Skip the passes at the start. None of them make you a better builder, and the two event packs are the priciest things in the game.
- Watch what other people fly past. Twelve players share the field and the good builders are usually happy to explain a trick.
