My Fishing Pier is a chill fishing game on Roblox where you cast a line, catch fish, and slowly build up your pier into something worth showing off. It’s the kind of game you load up when you just want to relax and not think too hard. Simple concept, but there’s actually a decent amount going on under the surface.
What You Actually Do in My Fishing Pier
You start with a basic fishing rod and a pretty bare pier. Cast your line into the water, wait for a bite, and reel it in. Different spots on the water give you different fish, and some are way rarer and more valuable than others.
The fish you catch get sold for coins, and those coins go toward upgrading your pier, buying better rods, and unlocking new areas. There’s a real progression loop here. A cheap starter rod feels noticeably slower than the upgraded ones, so grinding for better gear actually pays off.
There are also different fish tiers to collect, which gives you something to chase beyond just making coins. Catching a rare fish for the first time feels genuinely satisfying, especially when it took you a while to find it.
The Good Stuff and the Frustrating Bits
The vibe is really nice. The water looks good, the sounds are relaxing, and the pier customization gives you something to be proud of. It’s one of those games you can run in the background while doing something else, or actually focus on if you’re in grind mode.
The grind does get repetitive though. Once you’ve been fishing for a while, the loop of cast, wait, reel, sell starts to feel a little slow, especially when you’re saving up for a big upgrade. The waiting between casts can drag if you’re not vibing with the chill pace.
The game is still fairly new, so the player count is on the smaller side and updates are still rolling in. It’s not a massive hit yet, but it has a solid foundation. Worth keeping an eye on as the devs add more content.
If the waiting around is killing your vibe, check out our My Fishing Pier Scripts page. We’ve got scripts that can handle auto-fishing and auto-selling so you can stack coins and upgrades without sitting there watching a bobber all day.
