Minion Simulator is one of those idle-style Roblox games where you basically build up an army of little workers and watch numbers go up. You recruit minions, send them out to mine and collect resources, and keep upgrading everything until your operation is massive. It sounds simple, and honestly it kind of is, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about seeing your minion count explode and your coins pile up.
What You Actually Do in Minion Simulator
The core loop is straightforward. You start with a few basic minions, they go out and mine ores or collect resources, and you use what they gather to buy more minions or upgrade the ones you have. The more minions you own, the faster everything comes in.
There are different tiers of minions to unlock, and each one is more efficient than the last. Getting those rarer minions early on feels like a big deal because the jump in production is noticeable. You also unlock new areas as you progress, which keeps the map from feeling stale too quickly.
Rebirthing is a big part of the progression too. Once you hit a certain point, you can reset your progress in exchange for a permanent multiplier that makes your next run way faster. It’s the kind of mechanic that makes you feel like you’re always moving forward, even when you start over from scratch.
The Good Stuff and the Frustrating Parts
If you like incremental games, Minion Simulator scratches that itch pretty well. The minion designs are cute, the upgrades feel meaningful, and it’s the kind of game you can leave running while you do something else and come back to a decent stash. Great for casual sessions.
The grind does get brutal though. Mid to late game, the gap between upgrades stretches out a lot, and if you’re not spending Robux on gamepasses or boosts, progress can slow to a crawl. Some of the better minions are locked behind paywalls, which is annoying when you’re a free-to-play player just trying to keep up.
The game isn’t exactly packed with players anymore. It’s not completely dead, but the servers feel quieter than they used to. Updates have slowed down, so don’t go in expecting a ton of fresh content. It’s still playable and fun for what it is, just don’t expect a huge active community around it.
