Eating Simulator is exactly what it sounds like, and somehow that’s still a good thing. You eat food, you get bigger, you unlock more food, and you keep going. It’s one of those games that sounds dumb on paper but ends up eating a few hours of your afternoon without you even noticing.
What You Actually Do in Eating Simulator
The loop is simple. You walk up to food items scattered around the map, eat them, and rack up eating points. More points means more size, and more size means you can eat even bigger foods. Pizza, burgers, giant cakes, whole watermelons. The food variety is actually pretty solid.
As you progress you unlock new areas and food tiers. Early game you’re munching on small snacks. Later you’re eating things that are comically enormous. There are also rebirths, which reset your size in exchange for permanent multipliers that make your next run way faster.
The rebirth system is what keeps people playing past the first hour. Without it the game would feel like a dead end pretty quickly. With it, there’s always something to grind toward, even if the grind itself gets repetitive.
The Good Stuff and the Annoying Stuff
The game is genuinely relaxing to play. No combat, no pressure, just eating food and watching numbers go up. It’s a solid game to have open while you’re watching something or just want to chill. The visual style is colorful and the food models are fun to look at.
That said, the grind does get old. Mid-game especially feels like a slog where you’re eating the same foods over and over waiting to unlock the next tier. The pay-to-win elements are real too. Gamepasses like auto-eat and bigger eating speed make a noticeable difference, and free players will feel that gap.
The game isn’t popping off like it used to. Player counts have dropped and updates have slowed down. It’s not abandoned, but it’s not exactly thriving either. Still worth jumping in if the concept appeals to you, just go in knowing it’s more of a chill solo experience than an active community game right now.
If you want to cut through the mid-game grind, check out our Eating Simulator Scripts which cover things like auto-eat and size multipliers. We also keep an updated Eating Simulator Codes list with any active codes dropping free coins and boosts to speed up your rebirths.
