Don’t Press The Button 4 is a party game on Roblox made by Colorfuel Studios. There is one big red button sitting in the lobby, and the whole game is about what happens when somebody presses it. The server gets thrown into a random round, and it might be a race, a flood, a zombie chase or something completely daft. Rounds are short, servers hold only 10 people, and Coins drop the whole time.
The Coins are the part nobody explains. There is a shop with 45 items in it, running from 20 Coins all the way up to 18,000. A few of the cheap ones shut down entire rounds. This page has the full shop list with prices, the free gears you can pick up at milestones, and what the button can actually do to you. It also gives the honest state of how much of this game has ever been written down.

How to Play Don’t Press The Button 4
You get dropped into a lobby with a button and no instructions at all. Here is what to do first.
- Look around the lobby before anyone presses anything. The shop and the daily reward are both in here.
- Claim your daily reward. It is free Coins and it resets every day.
- Join the Colorfuel Studios group. The game says group members get a bigger daily reward, and it is free to join.
- Buy a Bloxy Cola for 60 Coins. It heals you and it makes you immune to one whole round.
- Wait for somebody to press the button. Somebody always does, usually within a minute.
- Read the message at the top of the screen. That is the only clue you get about what the round wants.
- Play the round out, then spend what you earned before the next press.
Don’t Press The Button 4 Gameplay
The loop is simple and it never really changes. Everyone stands in the lobby, somebody presses the button, and the game picks a round at random. You get a line of text telling you what to do, then it happens to you whether you are ready or not.
Rounds are short. Most are over in a minute or two, and then everyone is back in the lobby with a few more Coins. Because a server only holds 10 players, it never feels crowded, and you tend to see the same faces for a whole session.
The game page says there are 154 rounds now. Here is the honest bit though. The community has only ever written down 67 of them, so less than half of this game is documented anywhere at all. Below is what those 67 look like once you sort them into types.
What the Button Actually Does
Every round falls into one of seven shapes. Once you know the shapes you can usually work out what to do from the message alone, even on a round you have never seen.
| Type |
What you do |
Rounds like this |
| Stay alive |
Something is chasing you or trying to squash you. Keep moving. |
Watch out for the mummy, Avoid the cube, Survive the fire rings, Tsunami, Flood Escape |
| Get to the end |
A short obby or race. First there, or just do not fall. |
Jumpless Obby, Castle Obby, Winter Mountain, Jump in the logs, Slide down |
| Beat the others |
Everyone competes and one player walks away with it. |
Spleef, Jungle Warrior, Color the most tiles, Fire the most fireworks |
| Team round |
The server splits up and you win or lose together. |
Be the last team standing, Get your team ball to the end |
| Chase and hide |
One player or a monster hunts everybody else. |
Hide and Seek, Pumpkin Monster, Avoid getting infected, Don’t get caught |
| Do a job |
A silly task with a timer. Usually the friendliest rounds. |
Rob the bank, Deliver the pizza, Help Santa find the presents, Repair the windows |
| Pure nonsense |
No real goal. These are the ones people remember. |
BANANA!, Eww…, MONEY, MONEY!!!, AAHHH!, Big brain! |
The ones that catch people out are the job rounds. Rob the bank and Deliver the pizza both look like chaos, but they have a proper goal. Most of the server ignores it and loses.

| 18,000 |
Gear Disruptor |
Stops anyone near you using their shop gear at all |
Two things worth spotting in that list. Ice Cream is the only food that does not heal you, and its own description admits that eating too much of it does you damage. And the Gear Disruptor at the very top does not help you win a round at all. It just stops everybody near you using their gear.
The Cheap Items That Beat Whole Rounds
This is the best thing on this page and almost nobody knows it. Four cheap items hard counter specific rounds, and they are all buried in the small print of the shop.
- Bloxy Cola, 60 Coins. Hold it and the desert round cannot touch you. Sixty Coins is about one round of play.
- Trowel, 450 Coins. Builds a brick wall in front of you, which blocks pretty much any threat coming at you.
- Wind Potion, 1,050 Coins. Makes you immune to the blow dryer, the thing that shoves everyone off the map.
- Ice Potion, 1,050 Coins. Makes you immune to ice powers, so the freezing rounds stop mattering.
Add those up and it is about 2,600 Coins for four rounds you basically cannot lose. The Gear Disruptor on its own is 18,000. Buy the cheap counters first every time.
Every Free Gear
The team gives gear away instead of handing out codes. Some of it is tied to how big the group gets, and some of it turned up for holidays.
| Gear |
How you get it |
What it does |
| Firework |
Free at 1 million group members |
Fires a firework into the sky |
| Red Firework |
Free at 2 million group members |
The same, with different noises |
| Celebration Cannon |
Free at every 100,000 group members |
Fires confetti |
| Cake |
Free at every 100,000 group members |
Heals you a little |
| Sparkler |
Free when the game passed 1 billion visits |
Lights up and sparkles |
| Bunny Gun |
Easter 2025 quest |
Turns players you shoot into easter bunnies |
| Pumpkin Slingshot |
Halloween 2025 quest |
Fires pumpkins where you click |
Here is a tip you can act on today. A free gear goes out every time the group passes another 100,000 members, and the group is sitting just past 2.37 million. That means the next one lands at 2.4 million, so joining now puts you in line for it.
Every Don’t Press The Button 4 Gamepass
There are eleven passes and ten of them are on sale. Most are toys rather than power, but one of them does touch the grind.

Endless Coins. The team stopped selling this one |
Being straight about it. 2x Coins doubles everything you pick up, and VIP hands you 150 Coins a day on top. So money does get you up that 18,000 Coin shop faster. There used to be an Unlimited Coins pass as well, and the team has stopped selling it. Nothing in the shop is locked behind Robux, though. It is all reachable by playing.
Tips for New Don’t Press The Button 4 Players
- Claim the daily reward every single day and join the group. Free Coins add up faster than winning rounds does.
- Buy the cheap counter items before you save for anything shiny. A 60 Coin cola beats a 9,500 Coin laser gun on the round it counters.
- Do not buy the Ice Cream at 150 Coins. It is the one food that does not heal, and too much of it hurts you.
- Read the message at the top of the screen before you move. Half the rounds are lost by people who ran the wrong way first.
- Remember that servers only hold 10 players. In team rounds that means five a side, so one person quitting really matters.
- Save your big spending for the Rainbow Carpet at 12,000 if you want one thing. Flying anywhere forever is the most useful item in the game.
- Play around the holidays. The free quest gears only show up at Easter and Halloween, and they do not come back.
Don’t Press The Button 4 FAQ
Does Don’t Press The Button 4 have codes?
No. The game has never had a code box, so there is nothing to redeem. Most code lists you find under this name are really about other button games.
How many rounds are there?
The game page says 154. Only 67 of them have ever been written down by players though, so more than half of the game is undocumented.
What is the best thing to buy first?
A Bloxy Cola at 60 Coins. It heals you and it makes you immune to the desert round, which is the cheapest real advantage in the shop.
What is the most expensive item?
The Gear Disruptor at 18,000 Coins. It stops other players near you from using their gear, which is 900 times the price of the cheapest item.
How do I get free gear?
Milestones. The team gives out a free gear every time the group passes another 100,000 members. There was even a Sparkler when the game hit 1 billion visits.
Is Don’t Press The Button 4 pay to win?
Not really, but Robux helps. The 2x Coins pass doubles your income and VIP adds 150 Coins a day, so paying gets you through the shop quicker. Nothing is locked behind it.
How many people can be in a server?
Ten. That is small for a Roblox party game, and it means team rounds are five against five.
