Cruise Ship Simulator

Last Updated: August 2026  |  The ships, the money ladder, and nine badges that quietly track the studio’s own staff.

Cruise Ship Simulator is a Roblox ship game where you captain a cruise liner between ports and get paid for every run you finish. You start on something small, keep an eye on your fuel and your supplies, and work up to bigger ships as the money comes in. The fleet mixes invented classes with real liners from the past, including the Queen Mary 2 and the SS United States. It holds 15 players to a server and it is still labelled a work in progress.

It opened in April 2024 and has passed 5.5 million visits. This page covers the ships and what they cost, the three money badges and how steep the climb between them is, the two side regions, and the nine badges that record which member of staff you bumped into.

How to Play Cruise Ship Simulator

  1. Pick a starter ship and take a short run first. You get paid for finishing a sailing, so a quick route you can complete beats a long one you abandon.
  2. Watch the fuel and the supplies, not just the clock. Both drain as you sail, and running dry at sea is the usual way a first trip goes wrong.
  3. Steer out of the harbour by hand before you speed up. Ports are tight and other players are moving in them.
  4. Hold your heading across open water. There is nothing to hit out there, so this is the part where you can relax.
  5. Slow down early on the way in. A cruise ship carries its speed a long way and docking is graded on getting it right.
  6. Bank the payout, then decide. Selling a ship only returns two thirds of what you paid, so think before you trade up.
  7. Try a tug once you can. Hauling loads between ports is a second way to earn that does not need a bigger liner.
  8. Chase the money badges as markers. A million, a hundred million and a billion give you three targets to aim at for free.

Cruise Ship Simulator Gameplay: The Climb From a Million to a Billion

Money is the whole game here, and three badges mark the road. They are the clearest picture anyone has of how far players actually get.

Money badge Players who have it How steep the step is
You’re a Millionaire 21,117 The first million. Fifty one people earned it in the last day.
You’re a Hundredmillionaire 3,114 Only one in seven millionaires gets this far.
You’re a Billionaire 265 One in eighty millionaires. The steepest step in the game.

The first million is common enough that fifty one people earned it yesterday alone. After that the road narrows fast.

Only one millionaire in seven ever sees a hundred million. Only one in eighty ever sees a billion, which works out at 265 players in the whole game.

Part of that is the sell-back rule. Trading a ship in returns two thirds of what you paid, so every step up the fleet costs you a third of a ship. Our Cruise Ship Simulator codes page works that out from the shop’s own figures.

Nine Badges Track the People Who Make the Game

This is the oddest thing about Cruise Ship Simulator, and it is lovely. Nine of the twenty two badges are handed out for being in the same server as somebody who works on the game.

Each one names the person and says what they do. Put them in order and you get a staff list with an attendance record attached.

Developer badge Players who have it What the badge says they do
You met Bryce! 4,147 Lead Developer and CEO, and the owner of the studio group. Still being met daily.
You Met Jouux! 4,203 Makes cruise ships.
You Met Josh! 4,050 Community Manager.
You Met Nick! 3,447 Lead Builder and COO.
You met Ryland! 2,854 Modeler.
You Met Austin! 2,516 Ship modeler.
You Met Jay Thunder! 1,923 Part of the development team.
You Met Dxrq1! 1,395 Does the menus and screens.
You Met Wave Guy! 274 Waves and helicopters. The rarest of the nine by a long way.

The boss is the one who turns up. Bryce is the lead developer, the chief executive and the owner of the studio group, and he is the most met of the nine.

He is also the only one still being met. Eighteen players got his badge in the last day, and every other name on the list sat on zero.

At the other end is the Wave Guy, who looks after the waves and the helicopters. Two hundred and seventy four people have ever been in a server with him.

The Biggest Ship Keeps Changing

A cruise game lives on having the largest ship, and this one has claimed it four times in about a year.

The claim When it appeared Where it stands now
Oasis class, one of the world’s largest August 2025 6,014 players have the badge for owning one.
Adventure Class, largest in its fleet December 2025 A 1,350 Robux pass with a working roller coaster on board.
The World’s Largest Cruise Ship March 2026 924 players have it, and a matching pass went on sale a week later.
Sphinx Class August 2026 Named in the game’s own title after yesterday’s update, with no badge and no pass yet.

Read the dates and the story is clear. Each new class arrives, takes the crown for a few months, and then something bigger turns up behind it.

The Sphinx Class is the newest rung. It went in yesterday and it is important enough to sit in the game’s title, but it has no badge and nothing in the shop yet.

The rarest ship badge is a different one again. Only 515 players have it, and its text calls the ship one of the rarest in the game.

Ports, Regions, and the Missing Number Two

Most of the sailing happens on the main map, and two more regions sit alongside it as places of their own.

They are called Region 1: Florida and Nassau, and Region 3: Eastern Caribbean. There is no Region 2 in the list.

Grand Cayman is the run worth planning for. Its badge says you went the distance, and 4,407 players have made it there.

There is also a badge that hands you a wooden toy boat modelled on a bathtub liner. Eleven thousand players have that one, and it is the game being silly on purpose.

Tips for New Cruise Ship Simulator Players

  • Skipping the middle ship saves you money. Every trade-in costs a third of what the ship cost you, so fewer upgrades on the way up is cheaper.
  • Fuel and supplies are what a long route really costs. The pass that cuts both by 30 percent tells you where the money goes.
  • One endorsement can be bought with game cash. The tug and tow unlock is sold as a pass, and its own text says money works too.
  • A cheaper ship is not always a worse earner. The 199 Robux yacht says it earns the same as a ship you can already buy in game.
  • Grand Cayman is the long haul. Its badge says you went the distance, so save it for a trip you have fuelled properly.
  • The game has two side regions of its own. Florida and Nassau is one, the Eastern Caribbean is the other.
  • Look around for the staff. Nine badges come from simply being in the same server as somebody who works on the game.

Cruise Ship Simulator FAQ

What do I actually do in this game?

You captain a cruise ship from port to port. Finishing a sailing pays you, and the money buys bigger ships.

How do I make money faster?

Finish more sailings and stop trading ships in so often. Selling a ship only gives you back two thirds of what it cost.

Is there an autopilot?

Yes, sold as a pass. It steers between waypoints but it will not dock or refuel for you. Our Cruise Ship Simulator script page has the detail.

How much does everything cost?

Eighteen passes are on sale and they come to 15,119 Robux together. One ship, the Triton Class, is 4,999 of that.

Are there any codes?

No, and there never have been. Our Cruise Ship Simulator codes page has what is free instead.

What is the rarest badge?

You Met Wave Guy, on 274 players. It is rarer than the billionaire badge and all you have to do is share a server with him.

How many players get to a billion dollars?

265. That is roughly one in every eighty players who reached their first million.

Is the game finished?

No. It still carries a work in progress label, and the newest ship class went in during August 2026.

About Tableboard Studios

Tableboard Studios has made three cruise games. This one is the current project, and the group page also promises a fourth that has not been named yet.

The interesting part is the one it retired. Cruise Line Simulator: A New Era is listed on the studio’s own page as discontinued, and it has 5.3 million visits.

Cruise Ship Simulator has 5.5 million. After more than two years the replacement is only about four percent ahead of the game it replaced, and the older one still shows an update from a week ago.

The third game, Cruise Line Simulator: Classic, opened in 2021 and sits on 346,000 visits. Between the three of them the studio has carried more than eleven million.
