Croydon is a London bus game, and it takes that seriously. You drive real routes, stop at every stop and work a ticket machine. There are trams too, and you can build your own bus company and put it on a weekly leaderboard.

How to Play Croydon: London Bus Simulator
- Ride a bus before you drive one. It is free, it is a badge, and you see how a route works.
- Take a short route first. Your first passenger and your first route are the two easiest badges here.
- Use the ticket machine properly. It is one of the things the game is proudest of.
- Stop at every stop. Passengers are the counter that everything else follows.
- Start a company once you know a route well. It is free and it is the deepest part of the game.
- Try a tram. Only 33,452 players ever have.
- Join a shift if you want company. That is how the regulars play.

The loop is simple to say and slow to do. Pick a route, drive it, stop for people, get paid.
On top of that sits the company system. You can set up your own operator, run your own routes and appear on a weekly board against everybody else.
There are trams as well as buses, and the map covers a fair bit of south London. Voice chat is in there too.
One warning before you start. The game page asks for 8GB of memory, which is a real system requirement and rare on Roblox.

Over 1.5 million players have picked up a passenger. Only 2,131 have driven a thousand routes.
The game puts a number on that top rung itself. Its badge calls a thousand routes six bright days of driving.
The wall is between ten routes and a hundred. About 201,000 players reach ten, and 37,516 reach a hundred.
One caveat. These badges arrived six months after the game opened, so early drivers are missing and each count is a floor.
The Game It Used To Be
This is the good bit. For three years the game was called Croydon: The London Transport Game. In December 2024 it became Croydon: London Bus Simulator.
The badge list still remembers what got left behind. Fifteen badges are switched off, and reading them is like walking round a scrapyard.

There were cars you could customise, and 54,945 players did. There was taxi work, a car wash, and a racing ladder with four rungs.
That racing ladder is the saddest thing in it. Exactly one player ever won ten races, and nobody at all won fifty.
Four of the fifteen are the 2022 egg hunt, which is just an old event. The rest are a whole half of a game that got put away.

The riding badges are worth noticing. You do not have to drive at all, and 355,578 players got a badge just for being a passenger.
The company ones are the rarest of the live set. About 24,470 players have started an operator and 8,461 have built a route.
A Game With Nothing For Sale
Croydon has no gamepasses. None at all, on a game this big, which is close to unheard of.
Most games this size sell a dozen things. Half of what we normally write about is what a shop charges for and whether it is worth it.
There is one badge for buying somebody a gift, held by 2,796 players, so some purchase does exist. There is still no pass on the page.
So every bus and every route on the leaderboard was earned. Nobody bought their way up it.
The Studio Behind It
Centro Interactive have been making British transport games since 2017, and they have 47 places to show for it.
Before this one there was Snow Hill Lines, which has 3.5 million visits, and Bus Network before that. There is even an old trainspotting game at a railway station.
They also keep a changelog on the Roblox developer forum and link it from the game page, which is a level of paperwork most Roblox studios skip.
