Control Europe

Last Updated: August 2026  |  Badge counts and shop prices checked against the live game.

Control Europe hands you a country and 13 rivals. You take cities, upgrade them for money and manpower, research better units, and either build alliances or break them. The last nation standing wins the map.

The game keeps a badge for how long you have played, which makes it one of the few Roblox games where you can see exactly how many people stick around. Just over 2 in every 100 players have put a full day into it. This page covers how a run works, what a win actually costs you in time, and every nation you can form.

How to Play Control Europe

Everyone starts as a country of their choosing, and nothing is locked behind a level. What you do in the first few minutes decides most runs.

  1. Join the developer group before you start. The community guide says it gives a small permanent boost to tax, manpower and damage.
  2. Pick a country. Big powers are easier to learn on, and a small nation next to a big one is the hardest start there is.
  3. Upgrade your cities. This is where both your income and your manpower come from.
  4. Research units your neighbours do not have. Research takes a minute or two, so a head start really counts.
  5. Capture cities to grow. Annexing territory raises your manpower the same way upgrading does.
  6. Form an alliance, or wait and break someone else’s. Making one costs 50 Political Power and joining costs 30.
  7. Keep going until Europe falls. Being one of the last standing is what earns the win.

Control Europe Gameplay: How Long A Run Really Takes

This game keeps a badge for every playtime milestone, so the drop-off is public. Here is the whole ladder.

Milestone Players What it means
10 Minutes 10,791,329 About 46 in every 100 players get this far.
30 Minutes 6,872,481 Around 30 in every 100.
60 Minutes 5,015,614 About 22 in every 100. The gentlest step on the whole ladder is 30 minutes to an hour.
2 Hours 3,254,694 14 in every 100.
5 Hours 1,937,854 About 8 in every 100, and roughly the same number who have won a game.
10 Hours 1,128,800 Around 1 player in 21.
24 Hours 486,547 About 1 player in 48. The biggest drop in the game sits right before this one.

The most useful number is the win badge. About 2.1 million players have won a game, and about 1.9 million have played five hours. Those two are almost the same size, so a win is roughly a five hour commitment rather than a lifetime of practice.

The gentlest step is 30 minutes to an hour, where 73 in every 100 players keep going. The steepest is 10 hours to 24, where fewer than half do. If you get past your first hour, you are the type who finishes runs.

Every Formable Nation and How Rare It Is

Some countries can be transformed into a bigger power once you hold the right land. Each one has its own badge, so the exact number of players who have pulled it off is public.

Formable How Rare Notes
Soviet Union 1 in 58 The most common nation to form by a clear margin.
German Empire 1 in 87 Second most common.
European Union 1 in 143 Needs cooperation rather than conquest, which is why it is rarer.
Japanese Empire 1 in 194 Proof the map reaches well past Europe now.
Teutonic Order 1 in 402 The rarest one anybody has managed.

The Teutonic Order is the rarest of them at about 1 player in 400. The Japanese Empire being on the list at all is worth noting, since it means the map now reaches a long way past the name on the front of the game.

Alliances

Alliances replaced simple two country pacts. Creating one costs 50 Political Power and lets you pick a name and a colour. Joining or leaving one costs 30, and joining cuts any deals you already had.

Every member has to approve a new applicant, but the leader can remove anyone at any time. Members share a private chat channel and see the alliance’s total money, manpower, population and land.

The best part is the alliance bank. Anyone can put money or manpower in, and anyone can take it out, with no limit either way. A struggling member can be rebuilt in a minute if the rest of the group agrees.

Gamepasses

There are seven passes and six are on sale, from 100 Robux up to 400.

Gamepass Price What it does
2x Political Power 400 R$ Double the currency that pays for alliances and more.
Cloud Master Skin 400 R$ A cosmetic skin.
2x Upgrade Speed 399 R$ City and tech upgrades finish twice as fast.
Santa Bundle 250 R$ A skin, a title and extras in one pack.
+1 Upgrade Slot 249 R$ Upgrade three things at once instead of two.
Skin Mixer 100 R$ Combine parts from different skins into your own look.
Astral Skin Off sale The one pass no longer sold.

The two that change how a game plays are 2x Upgrade Speed and +1 Upgrade Slot. The slot pass is the clearer one, since it tells you the base game lets you upgrade two things at once and this makes it three.

Codes

There are none, and no redeem box exists in the game. Our Control Europe Codes page covers the free developer boost you can claim instead.

Who Makes Control Europe

It comes from a verified group called Hidden Studio., which has more than 1.5 million members. The game opened in May 2025 and has passed 266 million visits in roughly 15 months, which is quick for a strategy game.

About 94 in every 100 votes on it are likes, and it is still getting updates. Alliances were added in October 2025, well after launch.

Tips for New Control Europe Players

  • Join the developer group before your first game. The community guide says it gives a small permanent boost to tax, manpower and damage, and it is free.
  • Do not start next to a major power if you are new. Small countries wedged beside big ones get run over before they can build anything.
  • Upgrade cities before you push. City upgrades are what raise both your income and your manpower.
  • Research a unit type your neighbours do not have. Research runs one to two minutes, so you can be fielding something they cannot answer while they are still waiting.
  • Tanks beat infantry in a straight fight, but they cost more. Do not buy them if it leaves you with nothing to hold ground.
  • Save 50 Political Power if you want to lead an alliance. Joining someone else’s costs 30, and so does leaving.
  • Use the alliance bank once you are in one. Members can pool money and manpower with no cap, which turns a weak run around fast.
  • Expect a real session. Only about 1 player in 12 has ever played five hours, and that is roughly what a win takes.

Control Europe FAQ

How long does a game of Control Europe take?

Long enough that only about 1 player in 12 has played five hours, which is roughly what a win costs. Short sessions rarely finish a map.

How many players have actually won?

About 9 in every 100 who have joined, or a little over 2 million people.

What is Political Power for?

Alliances mostly. Creating one costs 50 and joining or leaving costs 30.

Does Control Europe have codes?

No. There is no redeem box in the game. The free boost comes from joining the developer’s group instead.

What is the rarest nation to form?

The Teutonic Order, managed by about 1 player in 400. The Soviet Union is the most common at roughly 1 in 58.

Is the map only Europe?

Not any more. You can form the Japanese Empire, and the community has written up nations from well outside Europe.

What does the alliance bank do?

It holds money and manpower that any member can add to or take from, with no limit. It is the fastest way to save a member who is losing.

How many players are in a server?

Up to 14, so nearly every country on the map is a real person.

Which gamepass helps the most?

+1 Upgrade Slot, which takes you from two upgrades at once to three. 2x Upgrade Speed does a similar job from the other direction.
